crownprince102:i think you're the best person to discuss football with online . To be pretty honest with you, I never knew stadiums weren't as expensive as I thought . I went on my own little research and found out stadium high sometimes can be due to council permits and land availability like Chelsea's proposed stadium enlargement and all that . @14 They're happy with this 4th wold stadium.... am not a fan of this ugly stadium. I have worked on 3 stadiums in 2010 and can tell u this one is UGLY. For starters the C VIEWS AREN'T THERE...I MEAN U HAVE THOSE UGLY M.S. SUPPOT POSTS BLOCKING YOUR VIEW. HA HA FANS HAVE TO KEEP THEIR NECKS SPINNING COS OF THESE VERTICAL POSTS.FOR ME THAT WAS A DUMB SOLUTION....

I think AFRICA SOUTH OF SAHARA excluding SA has better stadiums than nigeria... Bette SEE VIEWS n Tanzanian stadium NO BLOCKAGES.

This is CLASS, SOUTH AFRICA IS BLESSED TO HAVE BOTH CLASS AND BEST NATURAL BEAUTY IN AFRICA AND WE'E UP THERE IN THE WORLD. I remember talking to some other JEALOUS nigerian who claimed Abuja stadium was better than NELSON MANDELA BAY STADIUM  THIS IS ARCHITECTURE 101....After 2010 WC. we saw Achitects from all over the WORLD SHAKING giving this one a nod....SA ARCHITECTS PUSHED IT ON THIS ONE.

Our township stadiums still KICK ASS....Athlone and Langa township community enjoy this. THE LAST PHASE OF THIS STADIUM IS A KILLER....A friend of mine worked on this project....I think he built that MODEL

SA HAS MANY TOP CLASS STADIUMS SOME OF THEM ARE EVEN USED. This stadium reminds me of WHITE HART LANE.

Niqeria qat a few quality stadium but only 1 iz qualified tew host 1. . .imagine! But i believe that if nigeria is given the chance to host world cup. .4years is enough to build quality and standard stadiums.  |

Pascalberry:Old thread, but came to this after watching the game in Uyo and wondering whether or not anything else was in the process of development. Need more than stadiums to host a WC. Infrastructure projects will be required. Mass transit light-rail will definitely be required across the entire country. |
