Its clearly understandable to see different doctrines being preached on this forum.

One doctrine say's: Aaron would sacrifice for the remissions of sins, as part of the law on tithing and offerings.
In other words we have those who continue to bring all their tithes into the storehouse under the O/Testament law by works only to receive God's blessings.
Not everyone could enter the chambers to meet the Holy spirit with Aaron in the temple made with hands.

The other doctrine says: For on the other hand there is an annulling of the former commandment because of its weakness and unprofitableness.
For the law made nothing prefect; on the other hand, there is the bringing in of a better hope, through which we draw near to god.
Jesus had made away by sacrificing himself so we are closer to God through the Holy spirit who lives in us all; we are the temple, Jesus has become a surety of the better covenant.

You love either one, or love the other.
You either follow Jesus as saved, or unsaved.

Works with out faith is dead.

Thankfully, Jewish theologians know better than their Christian counterparts.

Those devils stole your true nationality. Thou art an Israelite. Stop looking toward the heathen for answers.
You do not tithe because your 'pastor' is not a Levite. Furthermore, tithe is agricultural produce, NOT money.
Simple...But make sure you keep the laws and statutes of the Most High (not as the 'christians' do, but as the scriptures saith, and it shall be well with thee and thy household.

Shalom

You should read back on your scrip's read through clearly, you said: Jesus is not all from Judah.

Dude I never said that. You should understand my statements before responding. I said Jesus was from Judah, but that was irrelevant because Jesus' priesthood was after Melchizedek, not Levi or Judah or whatever.

I did, now your turn to read Hebrews it's in English.
Hebrews 7: 12-14 For the priesthood being changed, of necessity there is also a change of the law.
V's 13 For he of whom these things are spoken belongs to another tribe, from which no man has officiated at the altar.
V's 14 For it is evident that our Lord arose from Judah, of which tribe Moses spoke nothing concerning priesthood.
So it's in black and white read it and wimp.
So that must mean we also are from the other tribe no-tithing. no-percentage.
Your turn.
Let me ask you, why are to trying to push everyone to pay more then a percentage when you say you don't believe in tithing.

Read it and wimp? Why do you talk like that?
Here is the entire passage in a simple English translation cos it seems King James is too deep for you. Read it again:

Melchizedek, Priest of God
7 1-3 Melchizedek was king of Salem and priest of the Highest God. He met Abraham, who was returning from “the royal massacre,” and gave him his blessing. Abraham in turn gave him a tenth of the spoils. “Melchizedek” means “King of Righteousness.” “Salem” means “Peace.” So, he is also “King of Peace.” Melchizedek towers out of the past—without record of family ties, no account of beginning or end. In this way he is like the Son of God, one huge priestly presence dominating the landscape always.

4-7 You realize just how great Melchizedek is when you see that Father Abraham gave him a tenth of the captured treasure. Priests descended from Levi are commanded by law to collect tithes from the people, even though they are all more or less equals, priests and people, having a common father in Abraham. But this man, a complete outsider, collected tithes from Abraham and blessed him, the one to whom the promises had been given. In acts of blessing, the lesser is blessed by the greater.

8-10 Or look at it this way: We pay our tithes here to priests who die, but Abraham paid tithes to a priest who, the Scripture says, “lives.” Ultimately you could even say that since Levi descended from Abraham, who paid tithes to Melchizedek, when we pay tithes to the priestly tribe of Levi they end up with Melchizedek.

A Permanent Priesthood
11-14 If the priesthood of Levi and Aaron, which provided the framework for the giving of the law, could really make people perfect, there wouldn’t have been need for a new priesthood like that of Melchizedek. But since it didn’t get the job done, there was a change of priesthood, which brought with it a radical new kind of law. There is no way of understanding this in terms of the old Levitical priesthood, which is why there is nothing in Jesus’ family tree connecting him with that priestly line.

15-19 But the Melchizedek story provides a perfect analogy: Jesus, a priest like Melchizedek, not by genealogical descent but by the sheer force of resurrection life—he lives!—“priest forever in the royal order of Melchizedek.” The former way of doing things, a system of commandments that never worked out the way it was supposed to, was set aside; the law brought nothing to maturity. Another way—Jesus!—a way that does work, that brings us right into the presence of God, is put in its place.

20-22 The old priesthood of Aaron perpetuated itself automatically, father to son, without explicit confirmation by God. But then God intervened and called this new, permanent priesthood into being with an added promise:

God gave his word;
he won’t take it back:
“You’re the permanent priest.”
This makes Jesus the guarantee of a far better way between us and God—one that really works! A new covenant.

23-25 Earlier there were a lot of priests, for they died and had to be replaced. But Jesus’ priesthood is permanent. He’s there from now to eternity to save everyone who comes to God through him, always on the job to speak up for them.

You need to read it again it was King Sodom who met Abram, not Melchizdek King salem.
It was Abram who lifted up his hand to the Lord God and said: I will take nothing from the spoils of war, so that the kings-priest could say they have made Abram rich.

Abram was already rich, he already had the promise, and blessed before the war "by God", Melchizdek blessed him, after receiving a tenth from the spoils of war.

Some say: Melchizdek and Jesus were the same persons, both from another tribe, both priest forever, but Jesus lives on.
Levi priesthood received tithes from the richer Jews those who had farms, shock, crops, herds, all merchant's back in those day's, tithing wasn't for everyone, Jesus didn't tithe, he was a carpenter, he didn't sin either, his disciples didn't tithe, even thu they were sinners.

Tax collectors received taxes: Jesus quoted give to Caesar what belongs to Caesar and give to God what belongs to God.

And he told Peter to take a coin out of the fishes mouth to pay the tax, only because Jesus didn't want to argue over it.

Those who received the temple tax came to Peter and said: "Does your Teacher not pay the temple tax?" He said: yes." Jesus anticipated him saying, "What do you think, Simon? From whom do the kings of the earth take customs {which were tithes}or taxes, from their own sons or from strangers?" Peter said: to him "From strangers" Jesus said: to him, THEN THE SONS ARE FREE.

So we are sons to the lord, the Lord said clearly we don't pay temple customs or taxes.

Don't forget the fall of man-was said we are like God.

Point of correction. They were already made LIKE God by God Himself.

"And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth." (Genesis 1:26).

"So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them." (Genesis 1:27).

They fell from this position when the yielded to the lie of satan to do something to become WHAT they already art.

"For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil." (Genesis 3:5).
