20 Shocking Atrocities Committed By General Muhammad Buhari by MuguliciousMUGU: 7:45am On Jan 02, 2015
Compiled By Somto Monanu

1. Buhari was in full support of all the atrocities of Sani Abacha against the Nigerian people. There is no single record of his criticism of Sani
Abacha during those dark days when Nigeria was on precipice. It shows that he is a patriot of convenience. In fact On the 10th anniversary of Abacha’s demise, Buhari said that Abacha stole nothing from Nigeria! Despite millions of Dollars recovered from banks around the world and the Abacha family signing a formal agreement to return over $1 billion dollars, Buhari still said that, Abacha’s stealing remains an unproved allegation!!!! Why? Because Abacha set Buhari up like an emperor and let him use oil money from theNiger Delta to develop the North without supervision or questions.

2. He supervised the smuggling of 53 suitcases filled with cash through the MMA against the protest of General Tunde Idiagbon and ironically,Abubakar Atiku, the then Director General of Customs, who later became the Vice President and a compromised politician himself. This smuggling of the suit cases were supervised by buharis ADC, Col. Mustapha Jokolo

3. That obnoxious Decree 4 by buhari, against which truth was no defence, was used to jail journalists, an attempt to shut-up the media as a whole. That tyrannical legislation of buhari shows the essence of his intolerance…..He jailed Ndukar Irabor and Tunde Thompson of “The Guardian” on stories that were factually true. He again told Nigerian journalists then that, it did not matter whether the story reported was true or not, if his regime did not like it, the writer would go to jail. facts of recent history.

4. Mrs. Vera Ifudu, who was an NTA reporter, was sacked on Buhari’s orders as military ruler, for reporting what Dr. Olusola Saraki had told her in an interview about how the missing, $2.8 Billion money, while buhari was petroleum minister, was traced to Buhari’s account at Midland Bank, London branch. In view of this, OBJ scraped PTF over Buhari’s misappropriation. Vera eventually won her case in court after providing evidence, and was financially compensated.

5. He convinced all the northern political leaders against allowing the National Identity card program because according to him, this would unravel the myth of Northern population majority.

6. He has never been able to account to Nigerians what he did with the 20 billion Naira of the Petroleum Trust Fund of which he was the chairman under Sani Abacha. Also, He has not been able to point to any project he prosecuted outside Northern Nigeria with the trust fund.

7. Buhari, as part of his tribalistic practices, placed President Shagari under house arrest inside a palatia mansion in Ikoyi, while he locked up Shagari’s Vice, Alex Ekwueme in Kirikiri Prison.Shagari is Hausa/Fulani like him while Alex Ekwueme is an Igboman.

8. Ikemba Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu, another Igboman who had just returned from 13 years of exile in 1982, following a pardon by then president, Shehu Shangri, was as well locked up in Kiri-Kiri Prison by Buhari. Till this day, we are not told what Ojukwu’s offence was.

9. Buhari discriminated against persons from other ethnic groups/faiths; and as PTF chairman, he employed an overwhelming numberof Fulani/Hausa/Moslem people at the detriment of other groups and concentrated PTF projects in theNorth. If in doubt, read El Rufai’s book.

10. Buhari snubbed the same Nigerians he now wants their votes by refusing to appear before Justice Oputa “Truth and Reconciliation Panel.” Despite the fact that Buhari knew how important reconciliation is to the stability of democracy, buhari has never apologised at anytime.

11. Buhari after locking up Sam Mbakwe, who was governor of Imo State, from October 1, 1979 to Dec 31, 1983 in jail, he went for one of Mbakwe’s wives. He established himself for what he was/is letting Mbakwe receive in jail, news of the death of another of Mbakwe’s two wives.

12. He is an Islamic fundamentalist, who told his northern followers never to vote for anyone who was not a muslim and he is a coup plotter who overthrow a civilian government.

13. He is an oligarch who does not believe in equality before the law. The way he jailed Lateef Jakande, Jim Nwobodo, Pa Adekunle Ajasin, Chief Ayo Ojewumi on cases that had no foundation and allowed Awwal Ibrahim, the then Niger State governor, who was arrested in Heath row Airport in London with 14 million (Pounds sterling) and several millions of Naira and dollars to be under house arrest is my evidence. (Ayo Ojewumi became blind as a result of his imprisonment over false charges and died shortly after)

14. Against all canons of legal decency, Buhari executed Lawal Ojuolape (30), BernardOgedengbe (29) and Bartholomew Owoh (26). To put it quite plainly, one of those three –Ogedengbe – was executed for a crime that did not carry a capital forfeit at the time it was committed.

15. After the military government of Major-General Muhammadu Buhari took power, Prof Ambrose Ali, one time governor of (Bendel) state, who had already retired from politics, was arrested and sentenced to 100 years in prison by buhari’s military tribunal over trumped up charges. He was finally freed when the Esama of Benin, Chief Gabriel Igbinedion, paid a fine to buhari’government. Ambrose Ali died shortly after his release.

16. Gen Buhari allowed Shehu Kangiwa, the then Sokoto State Governor from 1979-1981, who conducted and supervised the famous “Bakolori Massacre” of poor peasant farmers, whose lands were seized without compensation, to remain under a very comfortable house arrest, without punishment or proper imprisonment.

17. In 2011 Buhari’s CPC loyalists massacred and lynched Nigerian youth corpers after the last election. A refined politician is expected to tender an apology on behalf of the ignorant loyalists, buhari refused to apologise. He said, the mob were angry because they felt the election was rigged. Is that sufficient to take the life of another?

18. Buhari pretended to have forgotten, his CPC party, rigged the election by registering under aged voters. He who comes to equity must come with clean hands.

19. On the 4th of September, 1984, minutes before leaving Nigeria for an extensive tour of the US, Fela Anikulapo Kuti was arrested at the airport of Lagos on orders of Buhari and was jailed for 5 years, on bogus charges under emergency law initiated by dictator buhari, which prompted the sentencing judge to later confess that, he was ordered to do so and apologized to Fela. Get Fela’s (Army Arrangement) song for more expose’.

20. Mallam El-rufai who now sings buhari’s praise famously said on Oct, 5th 2010 that ” General Buhari is perpetually unelectable because his record as military head of state and afterwards, is a warning that many nigerians in the past have wisely heeded. His insensitivity to Nigeria’s diversity and his parochial focus are already well-known.” El-Rufai again said: “I was 25 years old when Buhari was Head of State and now am 50+ and he still wants to be President, i don’t understand that, i don’t understand that at all and I call on young people of Nigeria to take their future into their hands and ensure in the next election, they vote for a new generation of leaders.

A leopard can never, ever change it’s spots. Nigerians, do not be deceived, vote wisely. Facts and not fiction. Nigerians, behold the real buhari.

Ur Campaign of calumny won't work.

"
In 1977, the military head of state, Lt. Gen. Olusegun
Obasanjo, set up a crude oil sales tribunal to
investigate the operations of the Nigerian National
Oil Company (NNOC, which metamorphosed into
NNPC same year). The tribunal found out that in
three years, NNOC had failed to collect its
equity share of oil produced by Shell, Mobil and
Gulf. As a joint venture partner, NNOC was
entitled to 182.95 million barrels of oil
production. But NNOC did not find buyers for its
own share, thereby losing a potential income of
$2.8 billion. But it was instead reported by the
media that $2.8 billion was missing."

OP if no.18 is true? who do u blame.......buhari or d govt. of d day that failed to monitor inec activities.

Also wen we try to make buhari look lik a northern agenda(so southerners shud hate him). We shud remember dat Jona aslo needs vote from that same northern nigeria to win.
Lets not in a bid to paint buhari as a bad guy(northen oligarchy) end up painting jona as a southern agenda.

Let us set the records straight. As Nigerians
prepare to vote for progress and change in
the upcoming Presidential elections, it is
pertinent certain popular statements
attributed to chief opposition candidate,
General Muhammadu Buhari are set straight for
God and man.

1). Firstly, did General Buhari ever say he or they will
make Nigeria ungovernable?
The answer to this is a resounding, NO!
In an earlier write-up we carefully researched this
inflammatory statement and discovered that it was
made by a then PDP politician, Lawal Kaita from
Kaduna. This is why the late NSA, Andrew Owoye
Azazi said that it was internal PDP politics and their
squabbles on zoning/rotation of the Presidency that
led to the “sudden sophistication of Boko Haram.” It
was within PDP that the discussion of rotation of
the presidency came up, and Lawal Kaita was
perturbed with Jonathan’s decision to continue late
Umaru Yar’Adua’s term in violation of the parties
zoning policy. This was when Jonathan promised to
only contest/occupy the top spot one additional
term (in addition to his completing Yar’Adua’s term)
and also when some northern PDP stalwarts and
party founders threatened to make Nigeria
ungovernable. There was no such confusion in
Buhari’s CPC and thus no need and reason for such
inflammatory pronouncements from his quarters.
When Reuben Abati spun this statement upon the
person of Buhari, the General took him to court for
libel and the court judgment as awarded in Buhari’s
favor. Buhari dragged Abati and The Guardian to
court via suit no. ID/837/2011 and demanded
N1billion damages. President Goodluck Jonathan
then begged Buhari to settle out-of-court. See in
DailyPost of January 13th, 2013: http://
dailypost.ng/2013/01/13/presidency-begs-buhari-to-
settle-slander-case-out-of-court/. The empathetic
General agreed and Reuben Abati and the Guardian
where the libelous article was published were
made to publish an unreserved retraction of the
slander against Buhari which they did in the
Guardian of July 11, 2013. This is why Reuben Abati
is called Nigeria’s evil genius. Our full article on this
with all references can be read here on ENDS.ng:

http://ends.ng/fact-it-was-pdp-that-promised-to-
make-nigeria-ungovernable-in-2011-buhari-never-
did/

2).Did General Buhari promise election riots in 2011?
The answer to this is again, NO!
General Buhari never prescribed riots or made any
threat related to such in regards to the 2011
elections. He took the case of election rigging to
court and never made a single statement
containing threats in relation to it. The Lemu panel
investigation of the post-election riots cleared the
General of any guilt of complicity. The General
released an exemplary press statement on the
court’s ruling which can be read on
SaharaReporters of December 28, 2011: http://
saharareporters.com/2011/12/28/statement-
general-muhammadu-buhari-regarding-verdict-
supreme-court-jonathans-election
Buhari did however state that if 2015 was a repeat
of the rigging on 2011, there will be a fierce fight He
used the kare jini biri jinni Hausa proverb, which
roughly cuts as ‘the dog and baboon will be soaked
in the same blood,’ but is an idiom which means,
there will be a real battle- could be legal; could be
protests or any other battle, as this is a mere
proverbial statement. Of course those who wished
to paint this statement with the ‘blood’ contained in
it did so eagerly as we see they have done in many
other of his statements and statements attributed
to him. Read more on the idiom here, by Dr. Aliyu
Tilde on PremiumTimes: http://

3). The third hallmark statement attributed to the
General: did Buhari ever say that a war on Boko
Haram was a war against the north?
The answer to this statement as with the rest is a
resounding, NO!
Why are all these false statements attributed to
Buhari? Well, for one reason the General is rather
not that outspoken and is a man of extreme
patience and tolerance who evidently only used
legal means to redress the libel and false
accusations against him planed and sponsored by
the Presidency.
So what did General Buhari say in 2013?
He said, the institution of a State of Emergency in
Borno, Adamawa and Yobe states was a declaration
of war on the north of Nigeria.
He did not say that fighting Boko Haram was a
declaration of war against the north; no, after all he
fought and destroyed not only Maitatsine terrorists,
but also the Habre fanatical forces of Chad. He
clearly understands the need of a real war against
terror; he however saw that Nigeria’s President and
the then army Chief, General Azubuike Ihejirika
who has been labeled a Boko Haram sponsor by
my organization, ENDS and Boko Haram negotiator,
Stephen Davis, were not fighting any real war
against the terrorists but were silently facilitating
the continued reign of terror and seeking all means
to destroy the northeast as it is today.
When Buhari wiped out Maitatsine in Adamawa
state, he did not need to declare any phony state of
emergency. He did not declare one either when he
expelled the Habre Chadian forces from the 19
Nigerian occupied Islands in the northeast.
Today the entire Nigeria saw the wisdom of elder
statesman Buhari’s position against the declaration
of the state of emergency and the senate thereby
refused to extend the more harmful than good
emergency rule that failed to yield meaningful
results since it was instituted in May of 2013.
I as a proponent of the State of Emergency in 2013
and one of those who canvassed and pushed for it
did not quite agree with the General at the time but
now I understand his reservations and how this
declaration and all others by the President
including his recent cessation of fire have all been
declarations of war against the Nigerian people,
particularly those being decimated and displaced in
the northeast by French foreign forces being
organized and directed from Idris Deby’s Chad.
In conclusion, the Jonathan government who
without any investigation exonerated MEND who
had claimed responsibility for the October 1st 2010
Abuja bomb attack, since then decided to pick on
General Muhammadu Buhari, his most formidable
perceived opponent and in so doing allowed and as
some say, actually supported Boko Haram’s
continued existence and carnage while his evil
genius press and media men and the Femi twins
continued to spew slander upon slander and libel
upon libel against the person of Buhari, spinning
his every proverb out of context, publishing twisted
versions of his every word and even reflecting
other people’s statements upon him.

I am indifferent.

I do not support any political party.
Not because I am mentally lazy or lack the capacity to do so, but because I've seen politicians and politickcians of my day on numerous occasions, severally flout intangible and genuine values of integrity, honesty and downright credibility.

First it was GEJ approving a bombing operation via Okah's MEND, now this brazen show of ineptitude by a person who's supposedly Nigeria's change (if the "facts" stated in this article's anything to go by).

One question for the keypad warriors of both factions.

These men, the ones you so vehemently defend, for whatever reasons there might be; if your life depended on it, would you stake it for the seeming "goodness" of these men? Would you?

Thank you Donphilopus for bringing this to my attention.
If anything, I am grateful to the Lord of the Universe for helping me stay on course throughout my active time on here.

The only constant is change...how change has imparted us either positively or negatively is another matter in its entirety.

I have been tried to the extreme on these boards, yet, somehow, the values of light, positivity and love kept me from going down a road I couldn't possibly recover from.

1. The reddened and emboldened above has been flatly denied by GEJ since 2012. I believe him now more than ever because, if he approved of those bombings then, then it would have been a walkover to allow human blood spill as a result of his loss. His actions post 2015 confirms his value for the sacredness and sanctity of life, as far as he can help it.

2. The quoted post above supports my earlier stance that I was never really a fan of Jonathan until the outcome of the 2015 elections. Why? His actions resonated with a value I hold dear. That alone won him my loyalty, and unalloyed respect.
I might not be able to place a bet on whether Jonathan stole money or not. But I can place a bet on his being a good man, one who had best and noble intentions for this nation, bar saboteurs.

Unfortunately, I'm afraid I cannot say the same of President Muhammadu Buhari....YET.

You make it sound like it's something to be ashamed of to have a political figure leaning.
Well, I don't think so.

If you must link me to any politician, Please don't use the term allegiance anymore ...It's offensive to me.

If you freely give your allegiance to people whom you've not been through thick and thin with, people whom you can't vouch for in and out....sorry, I'm not that way.

That I admire and respect the person of Dr Ebele does not mean I owe him my allegiance.
Thanks.

1. All this series of smear campaign, using REHASHED OLD LIES, can ONLY woo even more supporters for the people's general, thanks to the WOEFUL FAILURE of the Clueless-In-Chief you support!.

2. MANY Nigerians, southerners and northerners, Christians and Muslims, who voted for GEJ in 2011 are TODAY so disappointed with his performance that they regret ever voting for him because of his UTTER CLUELESSNESS AND INCOMPETENCE, as a result of which all their HOPES for a better Nigeria were dashed.

3. With regard to corruption, the corrupt cabal has NEVER HAD IT SO GOOD, AND SO EASY! Most of them must have even forgotten what 'EFCC' stands for, simply because the current oga at the top DOES NOT GIVE A DAMN!

4. And even as hundreds of innocent Nigerians, men, women and children, Muslims and Christians, are getting killed, maimed and displaced by the BH savages, our Clueless-In-Chief DOES SEEM NOT GIVE A DAMN about it either.

5. Yet when it came to anything to do with his re-election, that is when we would all see him displaying AMAZING commitment, passion and focus, promptly and effectively mobilizing ALL GOVERNMENT RESOURCES and SECURITY PERSONNEL either to ensure his smooth campaigns or to scuttle the campaigns of his opponents. That is why people see him not only as clueless, but also as a self-centred person!

6. And that is why all those who are so desperately trying to sell his re-election bid, like the OP, find it more and more frustratingly difficult to find enough concrete achievements on which they can sell his re-election.

7. The only thing the supporters of the incompetent president have is to try to paint Buhari black enough, and unfortunately for you guys, Nigerians are not buy that crap and they are not ready to gamble on such a PROVEN FAILURE for another four years.

8. As GEJ supporters must have realized by now, it really sucks to support a FAILURE!

Another crime is that he has failed to present his certificates as required by the Nigerian constitution. He then swore a false affidavit.
