RobinHez:3.125g i guess lemme explain aw i did mine.. since d half life is 12hrz..2 days makes 48hrz... 48/12=4..meaning it teks 4 stages 4 it to b completely broken down..okay.. 50/2=25 25/2=12.5 12.5/2=6.25 6.25/2=3.125. dis aw i learnt mine..mayb pukka learnt herz in a different manner..i guess its correct cos im gud @ half ife calculations..by Gods grace 2 Likes |

RobinHez:Hmm,Half life is the period of time taken for half the mass of an element to decay/disintegrate. So since we have 50g and the HL is 12hrs,the first 12hrs will leave the element with 25g,second 12hrs 12.5,third 12hrs 6.25g while the last 12hrs 3.125 since we will be having "four" 12hrs in 2days. |

Thanks @all for helping me understand half-life! Pls permit me to look 4 trouble small... RAMBOS!!! U should know that no question in maths is wrong the only thing that can be wrong is the options. A chinese professor recently completed solving an equation which he started solving since last year. It took 500 pages, he's got his answer but the problem now is, no one knows if he's right or wrong cuz he seems to be the only one that knows maths to that extent. This also extends to other little Rambos in other subjects! Try to bring people up to ur level and not intimidate them with ur 'machine gun' of self-acclaimed intelligence. Hez. |
