Will Nigerian Muslims Allow Openly Christian Politicians Attend Jumat In Mosque? by Aksonman: 11:40am On Jan 05, 2015
I pray certain Nigerian politicians are not mocking the church thereby calling for God's wrath.

The Nigerian church has opened itself to ridicule in the eyes of the muslim world simply for political gains.

Muslim candidates that have for decades shown hostility towards Christian are now being courted by the Church for political gains. These muslim political candidates have neither accepted Christ or Christianity.

Using the Church as part of a political party's "marketing-mix" is very shameful to say the least.

Goodluck Jonathan is a christian thus seeking prayers in church is really not out of place BUT i do not expect him to attend Kano Central mosque with Emir Sanusi for the SOLE PURPOSE of winning muslim votes.

Muslims in Kano will not tolerate this.

You and i knows an "infidel" or "kafir" would never be allowed to step into a mosque, A mosque is "too holy" for an "unbeliever" like Jonathan to enter. undecided angry grin

The truth is that Christians are more tolerant than Muslims.
Education also play a part role in this as we have more and better educated and enlightened Christians than Muslims.

Both the church and the mosque are the breeding ground of corrupt politicians and corrupt citizens. If you doubt me find out whether all the corrupt politicians and citizen do not attend churches and mosques.

Our religious leaders are supposed to be the custodian of morality in the society but they have become very corrupt, so their followers. Nobody should blame Jonathan for failure of our religious leaders.

Dr Olusegun Mimiko of Ondo State is a Christian, he worships in Akure central mosque each time the Muslims have special programme especially when election is approaching, so its a norm among politicians to frolic with any religion for their own advantage

Unfortunately Christian Faith is not as morally inflexible as the Muslim faith.. so a whole lot of sh@#it can go on in Churches and no one bats an eyelid. wink

So what does this op implies that we rebel against our brother moslems. Gmb is helping to settle the religious tensions in this country as we know he has massive fellowship in the north that look up to him. This would influence moslems. Finally the whole country is becoming one irrespective of religion. I thought that is what we always wanted

What would take an infidel like Jonathan to a Mosque? To pray the Juma'at? Or to listen to the sermon? Ain't no reasons above that'll allow him there.

Thanks Bruv, Op pls stop playing religious card here, christians are welcomed in any mosque within and outside Nigeria. Beside, our great grand-fathers have been staying together even before the arrival of the religions. Pls say no to religious sentiment...
