The House Of Representatives - Shut Down? by dunkem21(m): 3:04pm On Jan 07, 2015
The Federal House of Representatives have been under lock and key since October 28 having adjourned plenary till December 3 after her speaker defected to the opposition APC from the ruling PDP. However, it was reconvened once for an emergency deliberation on November 20, 2014 and a group of policemen prevented “the speaker”, Aminu Tambuwal from gaining access to the chambers which resulted to shameful acts of fence scaling by some of the legislators.

Till date, there has been neither news nor deliberations from the House of Rep while members are collecting their full salaries cum entitlements.

What is happening?
