What Is Happening To Benin Electrical Distribution Company? by Henrypraise: 6:59pm On Jan 07, 2015
I am speaking from a really pained heart, the light/ power situation in my area is so terrible, especially since the sale of PHCN, at least when it was PHNC we enjoyed 8-10hrs of light but since it was sold to benin electrical distribution company, we/ I am always in pain. We hardly see 8hrs of light/ power in 1week.

D 8hrs is split around wen bills ar to be distributed and wen de ar to carry out their disconnection act. I just dispose cooked fud n food stuffs I left in d fridge/ freezer worth abt 22,000 naira.

I pay d fixed 750naira charge on prepaid meter n also buy unit for my meter yet so much injustice/ unfair treatment.

For the records, I stay at shaguorlor area around d warri refinery, d situation is even compounded wit an unpalatable rumour in warri n d owners of BEDC ar not even giving explanations or making moves to improve on the power supply.

This situationis felt in most areas in n around warri.
