"He is the generous downpour whose blessings encompass all creatures

Rather, the entire creation of God is beneath Muhammad.

If I had traveled to Tayba, I would have obtained the object of my desires,

Being completely covered in the dust of the sandals of Muhammad.

The tomb of Ahmad is enveloped with fragrances

I am strengthened with the scent of musk, the fragrance of Muhammad.

The sun is nothing nor is the eclipse which hides it,

There is no eclipsing the light of that Spiritual Guide.

The desire of my heart is to visit his house,

My tears overflow from the passing of that Master.

My tears pour forth when I remember his physical demise,

I have been melted by the love of Prophet Muhammad.

If it is asked of me 'Who do you yearn for from humanity?'

Then I will say, 'I am passionately in love with Muhammad."

For his face, that shone like the sun and moon

For the smile, that lightened a darkened room
For his life, that turned night to brightest noon
Send peace on him and his family.

As his hands brought fragrance to all they touched
With a perfume sweeter than rose or musk
His remembrance perfumes the dawn and dusk
Send peace on him and his family.


For his hair, that shone ebony and black
That like streams cascaded towards his neck For the seal of prophecy upon his back

Send peace on him and his family.


For his teeth, that shone with a diamond's gleam For his neck, like silver and ivory

For his wisdom, priceless beyond all things

Send peace on him and his family.


For his hands that toiled yet were smooth and soft
For his feet that swelled as he worshipped God For the marks on his back that brought tears to Umar

Send peace on him and his family.


When his blessed body was pierced by rocks
With blood streaming forth, he gave this response 'Oh Allah, forgive them, for they know not!'

Send peace on him and his family.


For his name is Ahmad and Muhammad
He is praised in heaven and praised on earth Though no praise can reach to his true worth

Send peace on him and his family.


All who came to him were in awe of him
All who stayed with him fell in love with him Oh! How fortunate to have been one of them

Send peace on him and his family.

Hongwu Emperor of China (r. 1368-1398):

Since the creation of the universe

God had already appointed his great faith-preaching man,

From the West he was born,

And received the holy scripture

And book made of 30 parts (Juz)

To guide all creations,

Master of all rulers,

Leader of the holy ones,

With support from the Heavens,

To protect his nation,

With five daily prayers,

Silently hoping for peace,

His heart directed towards Allah,

Giving power to the poor,

Saving them from calamity,

Seeing through the Unseen,

Pulling the souls and the spirits away from all wrongdoings,

Mercy to the world,

Transversing to the ancient,

Majestic path vanquished away all evil,

His religion Pure and True,

From the Sacred House to Jerusalem,
Through the seven heavens did he ascent
To the Love Divine beyond where or when,

Send peace on him and his family!

Like a moon set sail on the heaven’s seas.
Through the dark night riding on the lightning- steed
See! One born of earth strides the heaven’s fields!

Send peace on him and his family!


And the stars gave thanks and the moon did weep
As its beauty paled before the Hashimi
For what sun or moon can compare to him?

Send peace on him and his family!


As his heart was strengthened and purified,
And was filled with wisdom and light on light So the wells of Zamzam he sanctified,

Send peace on him and his family!


And the Prophets- Adam TO Jesus Christ-
Came to honour him and to pray behind
One from whose lamp they had received their light.

Send peace on him and his family!

And the gates of heaven, so high and strong,
Opened joyfully for the one called upon
And the angels sang ‘peace on you, welcome!’

Send peace on him and his family!

When Gibril did falter, Muhammad rose,
Where no Prophet nor angel may approach
So beloved to the Beloved returned!

Send peace on him and his family!

For the peace that comes to surrendered hearts.
For the mercy descending when the prayer is called
For the blessings born of your charity.

Send peace on him and his family!


Through perfection did he attain the heights.
He dispelled the dark with his beauty’s light Oh! How blest are all of his qualities!

The Ascension by Talib Al-Habib

Amid the confusion, the chaos and the pain
A man emerged and Muhammad was his name
And walking with nothing but Allah as his aid
And the mark of a prophet between his shoulder blades
In a cave in mount hira, the revelation came
Read o Muhammad, read in Allah's name
May the blessings of Allah be on al-mustafaa (the selected one)
None besides him could have been al-mujtabaa(the chosen one)

Muhammad, peace be upon his soul
The greatest of prophets, Islam was his only goal
Muhammad, salla Allahu ' alayhi wa sallam


From among all the prophets, Muhammad was the last
As his was a mission of the greatest task
There was only moral degeneration
People clung to idol adoration

For all nations, he was al-mukhtaar (the preferred one)
So was he praised by Allah, al-ghaffaar
The bearer of glad tidings, al-basheer
Leading into light, as-seeraj-al-muneer (lamp of Radiance)

In handling the wicked, he had the best of skill
He pacified with tolerance and goodwill
The best of morals he aimed to attain
All he accomplished through suffering and pain

Reviving imaan as almuthakkir (the reminder)
He is known in the qur'aan as al-mud-dath-thir (covered up)
Only he was given the honour of miraaj
Unique was this glory to Muhammad asseeraj (the lamp)


He was ad daee ill Allah hil azheem
All hadi elaa seerauteem mustakeem
His mission complete, his held in great esteem
Allah praised him as bil-khuluqil azeem

May the blessings of Allah be on mustafaa
None besides him could have been al-mujtabaa
So perfect were his morals, so justly did he rule
Darkness had vanished and the word was full of noor

Balagha lula bikamalihi
Kashafa dduja bijamalihi
Hasunat jami u khisalihi
Sallu alayhi wa alihi Muhammad, peace be upon his soul,
The greatest of Prophets, Islam was his only goal.

I send my love on angel wings to you
Hear its cry, borne upon the wind
Calling you to lead me through the night

So fear not, my heart, at times when you feel
Sorrowful and lonely in the cold
Soothe your pain, for through his love you find
The solace and the comfort that you seek

Oh Allah! Send your blessings upon
Our Master Muhammad, our guide, our beloved
In every heartbeat, in every breath and sigh Every teardrop shed
By those who yearn for the light of his beauty
Who pass days and nights seeking his company
From creations dawn, every moment, every hour
Until the rising of the Last Day will come

Peace on you Ya Nabi, in every eye-blink and every tear
From the dawn of creation till the last day shall
come
When the faithful remember you, when the heedless forget
May you rest in the mercy and the peace of the
Almighty.

We once had a Teacher
The Teacher of teachers,
He changed the world for the better
And made us better creatures,
Oh Allah we’ve shamed ourselves
We’ve strayed from Al-Mu’allim, Surely we’ve wronged ourselves

Brought us guidance so complete

Never strayed from what is true


While in the sunnah you'll recall
Are detailed teachings for us all
And no more Prophets there will be
For he's the final one you see

His life he was prepared to give
At Uhud, Badr, Ta'if
Brought to us holy Qur'an
Very heart of our Islam
On the plains of ‘Arafat
Gave last sermon for Ummah
Passed away in Madinah
Lived only to worship Allah
