It was on the auspicious occasion of the PDP Campaign launch in the ancient city of Gboko,
Sympathizers, supporters/ support groups, well-wishers, party men and women, young and old, rich and poor, blind and lame , deaf and dump, men of good will across Benue marched to the venue of the occasion to show solidarity with Hon Tarzoor , whom they call the peoples Candidate.
There was hold up from Tactical Air Command Makurdi up to the venue of the event in Gboko. Thousands, No!! , Tens of thousands of Benue people from all work of life gathered in Gboko to listen to the Peoples Governor
Party men took turns to shower encomiums and encourage the electorates to vote for Hon Tarzoor. From the Governor, Dr. Gabriel Suswam to Sen Iorchia Ayu, Chief Abu King Shuluwa , Ambassador Iorwuese Hager, Terfa Bossua all spoke in unison. Good will messages from Jonah Jang of Plateau state and Col. Aminu Isa Kontagora, representative of Governor Babangida Aliyu of Niger State were handy.
Very significant at the launch was the fact that none of the speakers came out to throw aspersions on the opposition. The campaign was strictly issue based.
Hon Terhemen Tarzoor dazzled the audience when he handled the microphone to explain his blue print Nick named TAG-B (Towards A Greater -Benue). The people confessed that Tarzoor knows and has the panaceas to Benue problems. He spoke with an uncommon and legendary confidence that only a problem solver exudes.
Worthy of note is the fact that even the blind confessed they could see Tarzoor’s victory, the lame could walk His victory, the deaf could hear shouts of victory, the dump could shout out loud. Angels from above nodded in approval. The wind blew and moved the trees gently in the spirit of the celebration.
At this point the unexpected happened. The sun stood still for hours in honour of Tarzoors candidature.
The event turned out to be a celebration of victory instead as the people spoke loud and clear that come February 2015 they will all vote for Tarzoor.
