Fellow Nairalanders..
I read in a book that a person going for an interview can carry a small paper while been interviewed in order to jot few lines.
Pls I need answers from experienced Human Resource personnel..

How true is this?

It is not out-of-place to go with a little diary and a pen... but that doesnt mean you are going there to write down everything the interviewers says (no be lectures my brother).
Basically, jotting down stuffs might get you a bit distracted; and while some interviewers might have no qualms with it, others might consider it non-professional. You are very free to ask your interviewer and question before or during the interview including if you can jot down certain things .
In my first ever interview with GSK, I went with a little diary but I didn't make much use of it except to read out some questions I had about the job
