Its generally believed that president is the Commander in Chief of armed forces and a Four Star General in the Army hence the need for a military Aide de camp, Obama Cameron etc all have military adc but they don't stand behind him at all so why do our president have a conspicuous ADCs. In developed climes President's ADC do not stand behind the President all times. I have never seen Obama Aide De Camp before. 1 Like |

we need answers. Any military personnel should explain why our politicians have adc. Angela Merkel of German, Obama, Hollande etc I have never seen their ADC. I EVEN Google to see Obama's adc to no avail. what's the job of an adc besides being a personal assistant and must he stand behind his principal at all times? Is he De facto body guard  ? |

My own no be whether to get ADC or not, but always standing at the back of the president like a dried tree is what I don't find fanciful or security conscious either. |

U people don't get it. This argument started last year when GEJ was on seat. Those that started this thread did so to criticize him. But now Buhari does the same so shame to them all. |

Cameron hasn't got an ADC as he's not Commander in Chief. The Queen of England is the Commander in Chief and she's got more than 1 ADC (Air Naval Army etc). Obama always has a military aide from the White House Military Office hovering in the background (he carries the 'football' - the case with nuclear launch codes. 1 Like |
