Foreign artistes like Madonna, Nicki Minaj and Angelina Jolie are the ones shouting about the Baga Massacre in which countless Nigerians have been killed. I am yet to see any Nollywood person speak out against the senseless massacres but I can see them, people like Kate Henshaw and Ibinabo Fiberesima campaigning for the president as if there is no tomorrow. It seems these celebs do not know their value and what they should be doing to improve the society. The last time they were doing Ice Bucket Challenge last August and I said it was nonsense for Genevieve Nnaji & others to join when they have not done ordinary rally or walk against maternal mortality or malaria in Nigeria, some people almost had stroke defending her. Is it not a shame that even foreign celebrities are more worried about what is going on in Nigeria than our so-called superstars? And when these Nollywood people need money for surgery, they will still turn to the Nigerian public. Who buys all their CDs and pay to watch them on Ibaka and Iroko? It is high time these artistes became more responsible to the Nigerian nation and people. Charity begins inside the house. No one should tell me I wasn't ready.
