Buhari attended the last presidential debate. It was Jonathan that refused to show up. Later he organized his own debate where he was just talking to himself alone in front of the cameras.

Don't mind them, they should show him this 2011 picture of their run away debater president Goodluck Jonathan, who apparently was too scared to face his rivals because he did not get help with advance expo to the questions beforehand.

I vividly remember NM24 or is it NN24 setting up the "presidential debate".
Is it Nigerian owned?
Did NTA not organise one?
Are you saying the biggest Television station do not have what it takes to run the debate successfully?
Where in the world has any political debate been hosted by a foreign news media?
Look at the platform in your pictures above, any sign of FGN or Nigeria insigna or symbols.
Any sane person would realize the trios erred and just gave GEJ a perfect platform to give a manifesto.
Going through this forum these past weeks has shown the level of naive and subhuman thinking a number of our youths show.

I think mr Kuku is indirectly making mockery of GEJ or he is ignorantly thinking it was Buhari and not GEj that ran away in 2011 presidential election debate, we all saw how GEJ escaped it. GEJ never appear to debate with the likes of Kwankwaso, Ibrahim shakarau, Buhari and Ribadu because debate questions were not given to him ahead of time. But GEJ later appeared after 2 weeks to attend to what many Nigerians called "question and Answer session where he was standing alone instead of a debate.

Special Adviser to the President on Niger Delta Affairs, Mr. Kingsley Kuku, has called on the Presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, General Muhammadu Buhari, not to evade the forthcoming 2015 presidential debate as he had done in previous elections.

Kuku who was the guest speaker at the annual lecture of the Nigerian Union of Journalists, Ondo State chapter, on Thursday, said the APC presidential candidate had continued to evade presidential debates where he would have had the opportunity of answering many questions in the minds of Nigerians.

He said Buhari’s claims of the knowledge of how to fix the economy were not based on any realistic idea but on wishful thinking.

He said, “General Buhari has contested election three times for the presidency. In all the elections he has refused to attend presidential debates. Let us demand that he must attend presidential debate this time.”

He also said that those packaging his campaigns should prepare him for the debate so that Nigerians could ask him questions about the economy.

“He said when he becomes President he would stabilize the oil price, is he OPEC? We will not vote for Nigerian president that will be disgracing the country,” Kuku said.

He said, “Nigerians must demand for debate. President Goodluck Jonathan must be ready for debate, General Buhari must be ready for debate. And that debate must give access to Nigerians to ask questions on the economy and politics of the country.”

Kuku also noted that the government of President Jonathan had reduced corruption and supported the anti-corruption agency in their fight against corruption in the country.

While blaming the judiciary for frustrating the efforts of the EFCC and ICPC, Kuku noted that Jonathan’s opponents also had traces of corruption while they were in office.
