Popular Channels TV host Maupe Ogun, made
front page news in one of the hottest tabloids
on newsstands this week. The tabloid
exposed her alleged dalliance with a married
House of Reps member.
Maupe is allegedly in love with a top
politician and it is quite obvious to those who
are privy to the relationship.
Unfortunately, the relationship will never lead
to marriage. This is on account of the fact
that the man involved is happily married.
According to inside sources, she initially fell
in love with a former staff of Channels TV but
the person in question allegedly dumped her
like a bad habit after they had a
misunderstanding. The man (name withheld),
ended the relationship and went ahead to
marry another lady.
Unperturbed by her failed relationship –
Maupe is said to have fallen head-over-heels
in love with her new older lover.
At first, many were suspicious of her
relationship with the Speaker Of The House
Of Representatives, Hon. Aminu Tambuwal –
who’s running for the governorship elections
in Sokoto.
Tambuwal’s presence at the burial ceremony
of Maupe’s mother in Badagry, fueled
speculations that she was dating him. The
speaker came in a convoy with full entourage
to honour the TV star’s late mother.
However, those in the know swear that the
true masquerade ‘lover’ is not Tambuwal.
The person Maupe is reportedly dating is a
popular leader in the House of
Representatives who represents a minority
party.
The man in question is smooth talking Hon.
Femi Gbajabiamila of the Federal House of
Representatives.
He’s the one who reportedly brought Aminu
Tambuwal to Maupe’s mother’s burial in
Badagry.
According to inside sources, Hon.
Gbajabiamila used Tambuwal as a decoy and
alibi in order for him to fully participate in the
event…because he’s married and he doesn’t
want anyone to know he’s dating Maupe.
