A new dawn has come for Nigerian gospel music with the advent of release of Pastor Chris Delvan Gwamma’s ‘New Nation’ album. The 11 track album is a well produced, confection of musical melodies recorded and mastered in Houston, Texas, USA with the genius touch from Cobhams Asuquo, with live studio recording by international instrumentalists such as Joe Camey & Michael Hodge on guitar, David Davidson and the Nashville crew on strings etc. Songs such as The Greatest of them all, Bread of Life, The Lord is My Light and so on are musical masterpieces that can stand comparable to songs anywhere in the world.The album is the brain child of Pastor Chris Devan Gwamma, the General Overseer of New Life Assembly Church in Kaduna, Nigeria. The songs were all sung by him and this Sunday 25th of January at 5pm at the Oriental Hotel, Lekki the album will be launched to much fanfare. Present at the event will be the very popular Lionel Petersen from South Africa, Nathaniel Bassey, Cobhams Asuquo and several other ministers of music.
