I don't own a PS4, but that thread has people who are able to confirm it.
EDIT: Just re-read your message, the only games I've played on the list are COD:AW, NBA 2K14 & Injustice: Gods Among Us (PS3). The closest that technically applies to what you want (that I've played) is COD. The list didn't include FIFA - that's odd.

U said adventure games, so sport games & fighting games r out (well, I guess cos dey generally all hv local multiplayer)...so I'd say, COD Ghosts, COD:Advanced Warfare, Far Cry 4 (not too sure, but since Far Cry 3 had local multiplayer, I'm guessing it's successor shld hv too), Trine 2...thats all I can remember for nw, at least from experience

It has, co-op multiplayer...Far Cry 4 even has somtin' dat let's say for example I hv d CD & I'm playin' online in my home, I can invite u to com play d game online wit me even tho u r at ur own home & don't hv d CD, dey kal it d "keys of karat", & u can use it 10 times...it's somtin' like wat d "share play" feature dat Sony introduced does

Yeah but it doesn't have offline multiplayer
