The All Progressives Congress Kaduna State Campaign
Council on Wednesday suspended its rally for the
Kaduna Central Senatorial District, also know as zone
two.
The rally, which is slated for Saturday, has been shifted
because of the Peoples Democratic Party Presidential
rally, scheduled to take place on the same day.
The Director-General of the Kaduna APC Campaigm
Council, Mr Ben Kure l, said though the APC had long
planned its campaign rally for the same day, the party
decided to shift the rally because of its commitment to
peace.
“Our teeming supporters always make our rallies
colourful with their passion and enthusiasm. We have a
duty to avoid having them on the streets when a rival
party is doing a rally,” he said.
Kure also urged the party supporters to continue to be
peaceful and avoid responding to provocative
statements from the ruling PDP.
According to him, it is expected of supporters to
respect the members and supporters of other political
parties’ as fellow citizens and residents, who just
happen to have different political parties.
“The APC has momentum and its supporters are focus
on the party message. Our supporters must continue to
shun any act of stoning, pelting or any manifestation of
intolerance or violence,” he said.
He thanked the people of zone one, otherwise known as
Northern Senatorial zone, for the successful campaign
in the area.
“From Kudan to Lere, Kubau, Soba, Sabon-Gari to Zaria,
the people showed that the APC is their firm choice. We
thank them for embracing the message of change,” he
said.

Good for them, the "C in C" is town, all others parties should stay away...

BTW GEJ coming to kaduna shouldn't stop the already planned APC rally now...Or are they saying supporters of both parties will clash according to what some part of the report pointed to...

APC is a peaceful party

GEJ can go there and campaign peacefully.

This was a senatorial zone rally. APC would never shift their Presidential or Gubernatorial rally. How? For who?

The mumu Gej and pdp knew APC would be having a rally that day but decided to pick that same date too, he has no brain to think about a possible deadly violence if there's a clash between the supporters. smh, good move by the APC.

To avoid error in their uniform because the same peoples will be dancing different tune.APC will do the sweep with their broom.
