Our client is a leading engineering, procurement and contracting company specializing in the Fire and Security sectors in Nigeria is currently seeking to engage the services of the following:

1. Job Title: Electrical Engineer

Job location: Ikoyi

Responsibilities:
• Examine systems to locate problems, such as loose connections or broken insulation.
• install and maintain extra low voltage systems: Fire Alarm (mainly), CCTV, Access Control…)
• Test backup batteries, keypad programming, sirens, and all security features in order to ensure proper functioning, and to diagnose malfunctions.
• Mount and fasten control panels, door and window contacts, sensors, or video cameras and attach electrical and telephone wiring to connect components.
• Install, maintain, or repair security systems, alarm devices, or related equipment, following blueprints of electrical layouts and building plans.
• Feed cables through access holes, roof spaces, and cavity walls to reach fixture outlets; then position and terminate cables, wires and strapping.
• Inspect installation sites and study work orders, building plans, and installation manuals to determine materials requirements and installation procedures.
• Adjust sensitivity of units, based on room structures and manufacturers' recommendations, using programming keypads.
• Test and repair circuits and sensors, following wiring and system specifications.
• Drill holes for wiring in wall studs, joists, ceilings, or floors.
• Demonstrate systems for customers and explain details, such as the causes and consequences of false alarms.
• Provide customers with cost estimates for equipment installation.
• Prepare documents, such as invoices or warranties.
• Consult with clients to assess risks and to determine security requirements.
• Order replacement parts.
• Keep informed of new products and developments.

Experience
Candidates must have experience in the following:
• Fire alarm
• Configuring and installing central monitoring station
• CCTV in both Analog and IP.
• Access control experience helpful
• Applicant must have a minimum of OND/HND in related field.
Qualifications and Requirements:

• 3-5 years experience with at least 2 years experience in Fire Alarm
• Proficient in Autocad
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (MS Words, Excel, PowerPoint).

2. Job Title: Mechanical Engineer

Job Location: Ikoyi

Responsibilities

1. Performs Commissioning activities of newly installed facilities, or upgraded systems of existing
facilities.
2. Inspects existing system, determines its condition, and verifies record and drawings for
accuracy.
3. Designs and supervises installations of firefighting pumps, sprinkler and hydrant systems
5. Determines design requirements for fire detection and alarm, mechanical fire pumps, fire
protection and suppression or electrical systems as applicable.
6. Identifies standard details and develops new details required.
7. Uses computer to run standard programs in order to solve operation and engineering problems as
required.
8. Prepares technical calculations as required for determining service requirements, cable and
conduit sizes; prepares designs and calculations for fire alarm and detection systems for
conventional fire alarms, analogue addressable and automatic detection control systems and
signaling devices; sketches circuit and schematic wiring diagrams for drafting by the design
draftsman.
9. Reviews vendor catalogs to identify available equipment's, components and system elements.
Writes WORK scopes and detailed specifications for the fire detection and alarm systems, fire
protection and suppression systems, and other related electrical and mechanical systems as
applicable in coordination with technical specification and fire codes.

6. Job Title: Plumber/ Pipe Fitter

Responsibilities

• Measure, cut, thread and assemble new pipe, placing the assembled pipe in hangers or other supports.

• Cut or drill holes in walls or floors to accommodate the passage of pipes.

• Perform rough-ins, repair and replace fixtures and water heaters, and locate, repair, or remove leaking or broken pipes.

• layout, assembly, and installation of piping for air, gas, and water systems.

• Fit or assist in fitting valves, couplings, or assemblies to tanks, pumps, or systems, using hand tools.

• Requisition tools and equipment, select type and size of pipe, and collect and transport materials and equipment to work site.

• Mount brackets and hangers on walls and ceilings to hold pipes, and set sleeves or inserts to provide support for pipes.

• Excavate and grade ditches, and lay and join pipe for water and sewer service.

• Immerse pipe in chemical solution to remove dirt, oil, and scale.

• Clean shop, work area, and machines, using solvent and rags.

Clean and renew steam traps.

Responsibilities
• Responsible for being familiar with road safety procedures;
• Following traffic rules while driving;
• Drivers shall maintain assigned vehicles i.e always clean and in good condition, necessary maintenance such as washing and /or cleaning and service maintenance of assigned vehicles.
• Drivers shall be responsible for the routine check-up of the vehicles, routine check-up to include but not limited to oil, brake function, water, lights& tire condition and the likes;
• To be responsible for attending to all legislation/documentation (e.g. renewal of Vehicle license, etc.) pertaining to vehicle including any traffic offences and/or accidents;
• Carry out any other related jobs as instructed by the Management;
