I hail o.

Attn: El-Matteo, Surveycash, Ymodulus & other gurus in d house.

U guys liberated & opened d eyes of many unemployed & under-employed Nigerian youths, even d employed ones hv cause to augument themselves SIMPLY THRU D GROUND-BREAKING FREE DIY GUIDES ON IMPORTATION: d most trending & active threads on Nairaland.

It's nt impossible dat u may nt be well appreciated as imagined & may even be insulted sometimes, yet u kept d truth going. Dis totally confirms dat some are just born 'liberators'. Kudos to u guys.

Against dis backdrop, d present situation in d country & our govt. policies hv nt bn favorable of late. Increasing shipping/clearing charges, poor naira value esp. against dollar, non-regulated shipping acts/practices, extorting post-office charges even on free shipping items, etc. are all emerging factors affecting 'd surving youths' on dis runs now. If only our govt can appreciate dis good gestures of self-empowerment by dropping off some of dis 'killing' policies, d better it could hv bn for d nation at large. While many are already looking away frm importation or just managing to survive, something else hs to be done & done fast.

Why dis long 'story'? On behalf of die-hard Naija youths who are still longing to make ends meet, qualified bt nt still gainfully employed, MAY I HUMBLY REQUEST U LOOK INTO DIY GUIDE ON EXPORTATION NOW.

Dis is nt a total call off frm importation biz bt a call to be proactive. Whether we like or nt, our economy is tending towards dat direction now.

Pls, if I hv 'spoken' well, then let's keep d thread ON calling on gurus in d house to come up again wt goodies for all. One love.

NB: Don't bring PDP or APC here pls, otherwise, we'll tag u 'brainless'. So just respect yourself.

Aswear bros you don yarn my mind.
All the financial indicators and indices point to the fact that to export is better than importation. The higher cost of the dollar will mean that you'll be paid more naira than before.

I'm also researching on what to produce for export. I'm looking towards agro products. I look forward to being educated right here. Mrruns God bless you for this thread.

Patiently awaiting the arrival of the gurus.

Gud talk! Importation is no longer profitable due to xchange rates increments. Exportation now rocks!
Agro-products now rocks!

Exporting makes better economic sense as against importation. My brother for example, he is in Lagos producing products used in primary schools & selling it in Nigeria, also exporting it to Kenya. The products are lightweight thus low shipping cost. Likewise me l export craftwork from Kenya to Europe and to the U.S.

I subscribe to the idea of exportation because of the way our naira has been devalued against the dollar. Now is the time when we should start generating dollar income which makes more economic sense. First and foremost, I think we should enlighten ourselves about the pros and cons of exporting such as sourcing of clients and the shipping aspect of the term export. A lot of us are aware of shipping companies and organizations that import our things and even deliver to our doorsteps .That takes us to the question - Where are the shipping companies that will export our agro produce among many other things at substantial and profitable rates. God bless Nigeria. One day, some day, Africa will be free , Africa will unite.

Let me register my presence. My last experience on importation wasn't that pleasant. After negotiating price with the supplier only to find out that exchange rate has increased. Thanks to @Tutucious for her encouragement during that period.
