The newly posted Assistant Inspector General of Police,AIG, to Zone 2,Lagos State,Mr Joseph Mbu met with Gov. Babatunde Fashola,recently.

Both of them had a closed door meeting which lasted for several hours at the Lagos House,Alausa,Ikeja.Details of the meeting were not revealed but a close source said they discussed about the security of the state especially before and after next month's election.


He was deployed recently to Lagos from Police Command Zone 7 in Abuja,to Zone 2,Lagos.
His deployment was criticized by many people saying it was linked to rigging of election in Lagos.
