Why Is There No "Delete Thread" Button On Nairaland? by blackfase(m): 10:46am On Feb 05, 2015 |
I keep wondering why there aint such a button to remove either a thread post or comment on this forum. Sometimes poor network makes you post content repeatedly or you totally change your mind on some post/ comment & you decide to pull it down completely & there you have a bit of a problem. Does anybody share in this little agony? Think the developers should take a look at this pls..... 1 Like |

Seun does not want to reduce the number of topics in the forum. He likes showing it off. Right now there are about 1.8million topics. Deleting topics will make that number reduce . And seun does not want that |

No sir. There should not be a delete function. We want whatever you post to haunt you as long as NL lives. You can only modify your post or comment, but you cannot delete. This is not a typical social network, it's a forum. If delete function is included, then one can delete his post anytime he thinks the comments are not favourable to him. 1 Like |

It's for the prosperity of Nairaland and her members. If there was such a button, people would use it in moments of anger only to regret it later. 2 Likes 1 Share |
