PDP plan is better cos its realistic and simple. Develop Nigeria and let investors take the unlimited opportunities. This is more realistic.

But currently only the rich elites benefit under the PDP plan. The APC will stimulate the economy. For example the social security scheme will lead to people buying more goods. This will help out the local akara sales woman. The akara sales woman can expand her business, the akara sales woman will order more cooking materials, the farmer will make more money. The farmer is guaranteed a minimum price for his goods. The farmer will want to plant more. The akara woman can get a loan from 300 billion growth fund to expand her business.

I am yet to come across immediate pay rise in the Manifesto. I have read about restructuring our military, equipment, welfare and kit.

Like you said, Osun state does this successfully. How you came about 250 naira per child is ridiculous. Even Mr biggs won't charge 250 naira in bulk.

When last did u check the news? According PWC's report there's no missing $20bn in the federations account.

You do know the audit was for 1 year and there is a dispute about the Kerosine subsidy. Why not audit it for 5 years and resolve the kerosine subsidy issue?. Even if it was $1.48 billion, that is still a lot of money. What difference does it make if it is not $20 billion. That $1.48 billion would have funded the APC housing scheme through a PPP program. The housing scheme would have created a lot of jobs.

Of course we all know they can sabotage things, but again my question is for how long?If the true motive of today's Niger Delta militants like Asari, Tompolo or Boyloaf is resource control, they wouldn't be content with ordinary amnesty handouts and pipeline security contracts for the past eight years since Yar Adua to GEJ. Would Ken Saro Wiwa have been content with amnesty handouts for eight years? I will not be surprised when these guys making threats today start visiting Aso Rock to collect 'settlement should APC win. Don't let them make you cannon fodder bruv.
These ones are no threats. The real threats are not yet know. Remember this statement *rephrased*"Niger Delta militants and Boko haram have the same ideology"-American security Expert.

This is what the GEJ led administration has caused us. Our debt toll has increased to N1.2trn. It is alarming! What are they really doing with this money. The railway is funded by the Chinese government, so GEJ should tell us what he has used all our money to do.. I can't point to any FG project around me. The 2nd Niger bridge is a scam, but trust some biased ibos, who will still throw their weight behind this corrupt leader called GEJ.

From responses from some APC apologists, some of them won't be immediate and they accuse GEJ as 'I will do' President. The simple truth is that APC thinks all the current overhead will go away. Maybe they will turn Police to 'Money making machine' like they did LASTMA in Lagos.

If you are Voting, remember;

If you support PDP, you are paid to do so and apparently a thief;

But if you support APC, you are a patriot who is fighting for Nigeria.

If an APC governor award a km of road for N1.2billion, he is prudent and God sent;

If a PDP governor award same km of road for N500million, he is a thief.

If Fani Kayode joins PDP, he is bastard;

If Atiku joins APC, he is a democrat.

If Jonathan spends N7billion for his office par year, he is a criminal;

If Fashola spend same amount in a year, he is a saint.

If Akpabio approves N200Million as pension, he must be stoned;

If Fashola approved N300million for Tinubu he is a change agent.

If you cancelled toll gate as PDP government, you are an enemy of progress;

But if you build a road in Lagos, with tax payers money and toll the road, you are genius.

If you increase school fees as PDP government, you must be crucified;

If you do same as APC government, there must be a reason, cuz Education is not cheap anywhere in the world.

If you share Okada to the poor as PDP, you are poor peoples enemy;

If you ban Okada after election as an APC government, you are only helping the poor to stay alive, so you mean well.

If you single handedly make your daughter a market woman leader in APC state, it is for the progress of the people;

But if your wife is made a permanent secretary in your state by your state government of PDP, you are a greedy fellow.

If you spend N16billion on electricity without power and then support APC, you a navigator;

If you raise N500million through unbundling of same power, you are clueless.

If you fail to pay your workers for a month, but in APC, it is not your fault but someone up there;

But if you failed to pay your worker for a month and still in PDP, you are wicked human being.

If you force your family, in-law and girlfriends as senators and lawmakers on the rest of the party members, you a progressive leader;

But if you act like you don't care in PDP, you are dullard

If you tried to get a third term fraudulently by bribing the legislatures but failed, then support APC, you are democrat and the father of the nation;

If you try to get a constitutional second term in PDP, without their blessings, you an ingrate and silly.

In their time we had Halliburton scandal, ID card scandal, Siemens scandal, we have subsidy scam scandal, we have national stadium contract scandal, we have health budget financial scam, aviation sector scam, we had power sector scandal. How many people did he jail to prove he fought corruption? Rather EFCC was his big stick against his perceived enemies.

In their time we had a sitting governor kidnapped by a thug working for the president. We had a whole region of the country rigged in favor of his party. Morris Ibekwe, a wanted international fraud star won election under PDP.

They are part of those who stole Nigerians blind under PDP; Atiku, Obasanjo, Baraje, Saraki, Wammako, Kwankwaso, Amaechi, Oyinlola, Segun Oni, Okorocha, Ngige, El Rufai, etc, but are today the same people financing APC and calling for "CHANGE".

Bear in mind that Buhari is not Fashola of Lagos state who did that in his state. These are two different people, frm different states, different religion, different childhood upbringing, different in everything except party. If fashola could be a man Lagos is proud of, can you say that about buhari who is in same party?

53 trillion is VERY DOABLE. The private sector is keyed into it. Nigeria's GDP will increase 10% in the first year alone because of compulsory school meals and public works driven employment drive. Please calculate what the fast food industry boom from taking lunch and drinks to local primary schools is going to be. Work that back into demand for chicken, rice, milk, beans, lunch plates, lunch boxes etc. and what that demand will do for the agricultural sector.

Chai. grin Please remind us again what country you are talking about here? Fast food companies taking meals to government primary schools cheesy grin cheesy If you read the report the feeding plan is calculated on about N250 per child each day. What fast food company will serve anything meaningful with that amount in today's Nigeria? Mrs Biggs or NativeChicken Republic?

This meal preparation will most likely be carried out by some government organised group and already looks like an avenue for more corruption. Goes to show that the APC manifesto needs to align itself with reality.

The missing $20 billion alone equals N4 trillion and that is just from one out of many corrupt government agencies. You cannot imagine how our resources have been mismanaged by PDP. This is the obvious reason they are scared of GMB.

That said, APC will create enabling environment for businesses to thrive and thereby create more jobs. All the jobs do not necessarily have to come from the government

This i can't really ( love the way Buhari pronounces the word really ) explain, i don't expect it to be immediate either.

This can easily be achieved by PPP, Apc states are doing fantastic in this area. I dare say no other state has built more houses than Lagos state, not even the federal government.

There is a lot of work to be done, Apc has never hidden that fact, infact buhari has said so severally.

Seun, this are the type of threads that should be on your front page, it could seem one sided but you can't blame the APC for the pdp not having a manifesto.

I love the way you break it down. I'm very much concerned that the kind of houses built must be tied to the ability of the average worker to pay for it over the course of 10-15yrs. A decent 3bed flat should not cost more than N2.5m and the development of a serious mortgage banking industry (as well as a reformed legal framework to make transfers, repossessions etc easier and more cost effective) will have a multiplier effect not just in the economy but socially too. In most sensible economies businesses can rent a place month by month or for 3 months at a time so they can free up capital to invest in their primary purpose. If they prosper, jobs are created and if they fail the impact is more limited. The first hundred days plan already envisages lowering the cost of forming a limited liability company, so more taxable entities will arise further stimulating the economy.
Of course I'm fairly certain that the new government will need to look at the state of government finances before juggling it's priorities, but this plan is more praiseworthy than anything I have heard from the pdp camp. It is good that the APC has high aspirations concerning the average citizen. They have been neglected for too long.

Apart from these loopholes, the manifesto emphasizes mining and a major source of funding even though i agree it can't be immediate.

Nigeria is loosing 500,000 barrels of crude oil daily, multiply that by $60 then multiply by 200 naira exchange rate.

Come on, of course they won't employ 3 million people to government offices every year, they will create an environment for it. There are at least 8 solid minerals per state in this country. Mining and agriculture will solve this puzzle.

Ignorance!

Nigeria does not get every dollar on every barrel.

It's share with the oil companies in a 60/40 JVC ratio.

It's this type of ignorance that is fueling unrealistic expectations.

Plus, there are also other expenditure.

Will other expenditure simply stop for "feeding the pupils" like those Almajiri children displayed on BRT buses?
