The Confederation Africaine de Football has banned Morocco from the Africa Cup of Nations tournaments in 2017 and 2019.
Morocco have been banned from the 2017 and 2019 Africa Cup of Nations tournaments after refusing to host the competition this year.
The scheduled host withdrew from the role amid concerns over the Ebola virus and, following disagreements with the Confederation Africaine de Football (CAF), Equatorial Guinea stood in at late notice.
CAF confirmed via its Twitter account that Morocco would be banned from the next two tournaments, fined $1 million and be forced to pay a further 8 million euros in damages to the federation.
