I don't think it would lead to any yeye civil war too. Nigeria might just break into different regions like the former USSR that is if the army do not take over.

Believe Me , no region will want to cede out of the entity called "Nigeria" - No Region has Leaders that have what it takes to generate sustainable revenue through its resources. Not Even the Niger Delta that have Crude Oil. We have Lazy, laid back, hungry, Useles.ss Leaders.

INEC NEW Chairman, Prof Nazim Mimiko From March 1, 2015.

The successor to the out-going Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) Chairman, Prof Attahiru Jega has being nominated.

The In-coming INEC chairman is Prof Nazim Olufemi Mimiko, a professor of Political Science and International Relation and a former VC of
Adekunle Ajasin University, Ondo State.

The embattled Prof Jega who has long compromised his position as INEC Boss, will be officially proceeding on his three months terminal leave with effect from March 1, 2015 in compliance with the civil service procedure.

Congrats Prof Nazim Mimiko!!! - Hope For Nigeria.
let us see if GEJ has d LIVER ,I'm waiting with keen interest if he has d strong head and mind to dare Nigerians, fingers crossed. I know dt there is no smoke without a fire, Jega conducted d 2011election and Jonathan won without any qualms due to d united front from PDP presented but d game has changed so Jonathan will be 'roundly' defeated in d polls, he can't hide any further!

When Sanusi was not playing according to GEJ's dictates he removed him before his tenure expires. The same he is doing to Jega bwcause he believed thgat the new puppet he brings will not let Buhari contest the elections

PDP/GEJ.....we the law abiding citizens of Nigeria clamouring for change have been patient with your cluelessness, any attempt to replace JEGA before the March 28 general election will lead this country into a serious trouble and riot. Be warned and stick to the amended time table as we are preparing to #MARCH4CHANGE.

When this rain falls, everyone will be soaked.

Those who make peaceful changes impossible, makes violent revolution inevitable.

GEJ is moving the goal post in the middle of the game (that is assuming the source of this news is credible). When you steal to the extent that the owner notices, all hell will break loose.

The North and SS are gearing for war. As ususl , the SE and SW are preaching and postulating. But when push comes to shove, it is always the SE that receives innumerable body bags. Guess who are the ones hailing GEJ? The same group that stands to lose most when it starts. SMH.

Shame on Jega.

How on earth can he insist to go ahead with an election when you failed to distribute 30 million out of 68 million PVCs? is it not outright robbery to disenfranchise almost 45% registered voters?

Just on 4th Feb, the last 15 million PVCs where flown in and yet Jega insisted to hold an election 10 days after without leaving enough collection time because he thought the odds favour Buhari?

How come the embattled NE have more PVCs distributed than the SS? Jega has to explain.

Why the choice to hand over northern PVCs to the emirs and sultans than the LG INEC officers like its done in the south? Jega has to explain the double standard

His alliance to the northern agenda is obvious and he showed his cards too early.

Even when INEC failed outrightly on PVC distribution and it qualifies for date extension, Jega stayed silent on that subject and blamed only the security program on the joint AU forces in the NE.

This is a good riddance to absolute rubbish. This is victory for democracy.

Whoever said Gej is clueless and ball less. GEJ is the new icon of politics.

It surprises me they dont know. The Southwest is free of anything that will befall Nigeria and so should Southeast have been if not for the foolish Igbos that collected money to give a false imoression of our support for failed leadership.
