"Stealing Is Not Corruption" GEJ Throws More Light. by Yehman(m): 12:58am On Feb 12, 2015
This evening, during presidential media chat, GEJ was asked to examine once again what he meant by " stealing is not corruption". To answer the question, He linked this particular saying d to former chief justice of the fedration; Al-Mustapha. According to him, in a crucial meeting with Al-mustapha, ICPC, EFCC, and the Police, they found out that over 80% of corrupt practices levelled against Nigeria politicians are cases of stealing. Consequently, painting the word "stealing" with "corruption" makes the offense seems light and fashionable. To average Nigerian, this two words conates different meanings. When people say "this man is corrupt" and "this man is a thief" the meaning differs. In lagos for instance, people would likely set ablaze or stone a thief at the mention of "Ole" than the case maybe with "corrupt man". Rather, people deassociates or try to be more careful with a "corrupt man". Therefore, Stealing is stealing and a thief is a thief and should be treated as a thief. Personally, I think his response was quite clearer and understandable this time around. This was different from rumours and propaganda people have been pastering around, even though that the identified thieves are yet to be treated as one. Lol! What's ur stance?
Remember: He neither said stealing nor corruption is good.

What is Faruoq Lawal still doing in the house?

Why are there police officers in Maina's house in Bida? (pension scam).

Why are the subsidy cabals still walking freely on the street?
.

Those, I guess are not thieves, just bunch of corrupt people. We can't just set them ablaze for being corrupt, can we?

PDP - clue-less

What is wrong is wrong. No two ways, no aophistory. This is not rocket science. Where is the dividing line?

The journalists should have asked him questions on his Ekiti misadventure.

I will rather embrace slow progressive change than regressive change. When I see the real change agent, I will know. #deceptions everywhere
