The Edo State Command has arrested and paraded one Benedict Ikazegbe in Benin City, the Edo State capital, for allegedly having canal knowledge of his daughters.

The police also arrested a 57-year-old man who raped a 98-year-old woman

According to the Edo tate Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Joseph Edoigiawerie, the suspect had threatened to kill the daughter if she disclosed what transpired between them to anyone, adding that he attempted to also defile his senior daughter but luck ran out on him and he was caught by neighbours who raised an alarm.

The suspect has made confessional statement to the police.

In a similar vein, 57-year-old, Anslem Osagiede allegedly lured a 98-year-old woman into his room and had a carnal knowledge of her. The old woman was said have shouted and attracted neighbours who broke into her apartment and caught the man pants down.

The suspects, according to Police authorities, have been charged to court.
