An official visit by President Shehu Shagari of Nigeria to the United Kingdom. on the 17 March , 1981. The President arrived at Victoria station from Gatwick Airport in the Royal train and was warmly received by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and made a colourful procession to the Buckingham palace.
