Jonathan Remains Likely Winner of Elections – Campbell 0
BY JUMOKE ON FEBRUARY 15, 2015 GOVERNMENT

Former United States’ ambassador to Nigeria, John Campbell has said that President Goodluck Jonathan remains the likely winner of the March 28 polls despite the strength of the opposition.

Campbell made this declaration in a new report published and released by the US’ Council on Foreign Relations.

The report titled Nigeria’s 2015 Presidential Election: Contingency Planning Memorandum Update,’ read “The APC is stronger than its predecessors (Action Congress of Nigeria and Congress for Progressives Change) and reflects a splintering of the political classes.

“The government’s inability to defeat Boko Haram, the economic hardships brought on by falling oil prices, and a growing public perception that the Jonathan administration is weak has fuelled support for the All Progressives Congress. Though the APC’s voter base is in the North, it enjoys support all over the country, unlike the opposition in 2011.

“It is uncertain whether any provisions will be made for voters in the three northern states placed under a state of emergency because of Boko Haram, as well as the estimated one million people displaced by the insurgency.

“These displaced voters would likely support Buhari and the APC; their exclusion would benefit Jonathan and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). Thus despite the strength of the opposition, Jonathan remains the likely—but not certain—winner.”

[size=18pt]Nigerians Report Online published this report last week and since then, the likelihood of President Goodluck Jonathan wining the presidential election is no longer a certainty, because the momentum of support for Gen. Muhammad Buhari keeps on increasing every day while more facts expose the shocking secrets of the maladministration of the government of the ruling party since 1999 to date.
The fact that former President Olusegun Obasanjo who actually knows more about these facts is attacking President Jonathan is enough for the ignorant morons here to think twice instead of displaying their ignorance like kids.
There will not be any GEJ till 2019.

. Speak for yourself mr man. If you were alive during buhari's regime (or your father) you won't dare make that ridiculous statement. Yes Johnathan is bad but buhari is worse.
Jonathan had the best opportunity.
He missed it

Objective analysis

Congrats to Gej

Congrats?! Hahahaha you're funny. These men can't wait to toss your GEJ where they think he rightly belongs. Once they find a suitable place to house him they'll give the "Thumbs up" for the go ahead.

Your man is cooked goose.

. So why go back to nigeria's vomit? No one is a saint, we all should look for better candidates than what is on ground. The past always hunts the future.

Enemies of Nigeria.
Just because Jonathan is weak and you ll be able to influence him, u prefer he s there to rule those who are wiser than him.
Buhari is a man and would not bend to US antics. Hence u don't want him there. Dont pretend u love Naija. We know u too well.
I never really liked Buhari but would vote him any day.
Even my old man hated Buhari but would rather vote Buhari than Jonathan.
THE MAN IN JONATHAN IS DEAD.

as far as his statement is concern, gej is not a certain winner. The underline word is certain...The implication is clear....buhari is the certain winner.click like if you share my opinion
