Rather than bemoaning the poll shift by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Social Democratic Party (SDP) governorship candidate in Oyo State, Seyi Makinde, has urged his party faithful and supporters to continue to woo more followers for the party.

He said his party members should see the poll shift as an opportunity to campaign vigorously for the party’ s success at the polls.

This was contained in a statement signed by the Director of the Media and Publicity of Makinde ‘s campaign organisation, Wale Adele and made available to journalists in Ibadan.

Makinde said the people should see the postponement as a blessing in disguise to reach out to more people and win more souls for the party.

The governorship hopeful asked Nigerians to give INEC the benefit of the doubt and believe in the ability of the commission to do a good job at the end of the day.
