A 32-year-old father snatched his newborn baby girl from its mother’s back to use him as a club, Pretoria, South Africa.

Alexander Forba, his wife and a three-day-old baby were at a petrol station when this incident occured. Police believe that the man flew into rage after questioning whether he was actually the father of the child.

He took the tot by the leg and swung her at his horrified girlfriend. He then allegedly dropped the baby on the floor and continued his attack on the mother. The brawl between the Cameroonian man and his wife, whose name is not disclosed, was stopped by a conscious witness.

Paramedics found the baby wrapped in a towel on the ground, drowning in its own vomit. The woman and her daughter were rushed to hospital, while the man was taken to police station. Unfortunately, the newborn was pronounced dead on arrival. Forba faces charges of murder and assault, will be held in custody until he returns to court next week.

This is beyond bizarre. This should be first degree murder.
