Having said that, I think PDP is campaigning for Buhari for this highlighted news. Renting a flat means GMB has no house in London.
Many children of politicians have flats in central London and expensive postcodes.

It's easy to spot people who have never left the shores of Nigeria and haven't even made an attempt to know what obtains elsewhere.

There are SHORT-STAY APARTMENTS that you can rent for as short as ONE WEEK. When some folks have courses abroad, for instance, this is much CHEAPER than staying in a hotel and it can offer a certain degree of flexibility that hotels don't offer.

So you don't have to rent an apartment paying 2 years upfront (with legal, agency and caution )

The original statement from APC did not say that Buhari's London apartment is "short let".
Why are people always so quick to twist things? Buhari himself has not come out to deny or clarify the duration of his London apartment.

There are many Nigerians who own apartments in London, and only visit once or twice a year.
And who is saying the apartment is rented? The original statement by APC when discussing his itinerary in London, never used the words "rented" or "short let". These phrases were coined by e-rats in NL Politics section who think they love Buhari more than the rest of us.

The original words by APC was "his London apartment". Is that too difficult for you to understand?

With due respect , you are not intelligent. Wherever you go you have to have a roof over your head. The cheapest is to rent. Many former ministers, former governors and even former state commissioners and perm secs have their OWN flats/ house in London. Bought from money stolen while in office.

However, I standby the fact that Shehu Garba's (Buhari's Spokesman) statement made no reference to the duration of the rental, or when he started renting apartments in London.

Don't forget the object of the post: Buhari's famed poverty and the totality of his family commitments which does not seem to add up. Who is paying for his daughter's education in UK for example?
