Since he has found success as a musician, Davido has collaborated
with many artistes, both upcoming and A-list musicians and he
doesn’t even charge a single naira. While Davido has a backdrop of requests from some artistes who
would like to have Davido on their songs, his manager, Kamal
Ajiboye has said that the collaboration requests have to stop for
now to enable Davido concentrate on his album which will be
dropping in July.
According to Kamal Ajiboye, in a chat with Tribune:
“The truth is that it does not take much to feature Davido on any
song, but he’s seriously working on his album and he has made
every member of the team to understand why he won’t be
welcoming any collaboration for now”.
Kamal said further that the new album will be launched tentatively
July.
“We are looking at July for the album launch. You know Davido likes
to have his thing in a proper shape, so he wants everybody to be
ready and fully expectant of his new album”.

Meanwhile, one upcoming artiste who had remained upcoming for years is having a beef (goat) with is supposedly friend, I guess that's their own collaboration, so no better time to hit d studio with all seriousness than now Omo Baba olowo.
