Hello folks,

Pls is it proper for banks to force customers to use the ATM?My bank,GTBank normally charges customers who withdraw less than N40k across the counter the sum of N105.
They claim they want pple to use the ATM ,hence they charge pple who fail to use their ATM cards the said sum.

Shouldn't customers have the right to use any medium they like to cash their money?pls express your views here,

Ordinarily it is not right to force customers to use ATM in advance country but definitely they will adjust easily to effective and smooth way of modern banking system but in Nigeria, reverse is the case because we are too adamant to change hence the need for banks to compel us to change with that kind of charges as penalty for refusing to use ATM. Pls bro, learn to appreciate technological development in our Banking Systems.

If the ATM is in a secure and private location, people will use it naturally.
