I am looking to own a small breed dog like a Chihuahua. But I also know there are lots of responsibilities attached. I need advice on what to expect especially like cleaning up after them. Do they just poop anywhere? Must they be taken for walks every day? Must they eat just dog food or can they eat regular foods? Etc. Thanks.

I have no experience on dogs, but i'm certainly following this thread.

Why not read up and have a background knowledge on dog/dog training first .. then come back to the pet section for answers about things u do not understand. I'm sure d ogas here will be willing to help then.

its a good thing you asked. somany people just venture into owning dogs without learning about them. thats like giving birth to a child without knowing how to raise one.
