Just because you're a Christian doesn't mean you should turn a blind eye to being taken advantage of. You have every right to stand up for yourself via legal means because he broke a contract and it resulted in you losing money. He might have done it to someone else who did nothing about it, and this is why he's doing it to another. If you do nothing about it, he will do it to someone else and the cycle will simply continue. By doing nothing, you're sending him the message that his behaviour is acceptable.
