Not necessarily swthrt. We hv a medication (rhoGAM) u can take during ur first trimester. Although its usually after d first birth cos thr's no production of antibodies yet. U can google for more info

Not necessary to go looking for O-. Just take rhogam after first pregnancy and any time there's potential mix of blood between you and fetus (accident---God forbid), abortion (spontaneous or elective), vaginal and C-section.
