Dear President Gooduck Jonathan, I hope you have seen that the buck stops on your table. You must stop being impressed by the big certificates from white peoples’ universities your advisers parade. You cannot afford to pander to the whims and caprices of those who see you as a meal ticket, those who have all kinds of proposals on their laptops. You, Mr President, are the one who will be left with the short end of the stick when all is said and done. Nigerians voted for you, stuck out their neck for you to get what ‘the cabal’ hid under the mat. You were the one who picked wrong advisers and paid them handsomely for wrong advice. You were the one Nige­rians asked to account for the treasure they kept in your care. You are the one who returned after 4 years to ask for votes. Not your Harvard-trained, Queen’s English-speaking advisers.

Or haven’t you noticed sir, that you are the one being accused of not bringing back the Chibok girls, the one who refused to buy equipment for the armed forces, the one who hates the North, the one who refused to protect the schools, the one who refused to bomb Sambisa forest. Where are the men who told you lies so they can continue to use their ATM cards in your government? Where are the men and women who got the PDP to this sorry pass, those who told you to aban­don those who have shown loyalty, those who did all to make you stand? Unfortunately for you sir, the evil men are still with you, drop them before they sink your ship. Because if they do, they will get on another ship. It is what they do sir.
