Beloved, God did not appoint us to wrath but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ (1 Thess 5:9), therefore let us be on guard. Stand firm in the faith. Be courageous. Be strong. And do everything with love (1 Cor 16:13-14). Cloth yourself with the presence of the Lord Jesus Christ (Rom 13:14a) Jesus said “the grace of God is all you need. My power works best in weakness” (2 Cor 12:9). So even in our weakness let us boost so that the power of Christ can work through us. Be glad to take pleasure in your weakness, insults, hardships, persecutions, and troubles that you suffer for Christ. For when you are weak then you are strong (v 10).
