Rug Carpet Or Tiled Floors - Which Is Better For A Baby's Room? by omegdeluxe(f): 1:04pm On Mar 03, 2015
Hello Lovelies,

This topic has always been one for discussion in choosing a type of flooring for a baby's room. They both have their advantages and disadvantages though.

For example;

The advantage of a tiled room is that its easy to clean, dirt cannot hide inside ( e nor get how! lolz) while an advantage for the rug carpet is that its warmer and can easily cushion incase of any fall.

So what do you think? Which do you prefer? -

rugs are better.
Tiles is dangerous... A little water on it can lead to serious injuries.

Rug contain allot of dust and are really unhygienic. Also no good if the children have asthma or allergy.

then go for ordinary carpet then, tiles is a no no in kids' room, it's too risky for them. Kids are usually restless.
My opinion though!

For kids, i think rugs should not be used in their rooms. You might not know if the child is asthmatic and then he/she could have an attack without warning. What i did was put a removable foam that could be cleaned daily. I removed it when they outgrew it and it's just tiles. Not had any other attack since i removed all the rugs in the house.

Tiles are better. Does not inhabits dust, moist and stench which can cause discomfort to the child. Easy clean, disinfect and maintain.
