well let me address this properly, Its not a new thing, this thing has been happening on this particular bridge for over 15 years as far as i can remember. I feel the Lagos State Govt should have patrol team stationed there

Things every Nigerian road users must know,
1. If you are driving on this bridge, never stop for any reason
2. Always wind up, most times they just burst into you and displace you of your possesion,
3. Always have a backup bag, phone and money
4. Make sure all your real possessions like laptops, bags etc are locked up in your boot
5. If you are stucked in holdup on that bridge make sure you wind up and lock your car and get so close to the car in front of you, and if anyone should approach you with a gun or weapon, hit the person in front gently, the people in the car will be forced to come out and the robbers would run away and if you are not close to any car, corporate and fall back to option 3 always have a backup phone etc
6. Never operate your phone, always use an handsfree and make sure your phone is under your seat. if you put in the safe boxes these robbers know where people keep their stuffs
7. DONT ever try to be smart except you are actually smart
Nice info. But my fear is robbers too might be reading this

dont try it oooh, the boys will tear u apart ooh!

This is the kind of attitude that they anticipate. In a country with a dysfunctional police force, one must find ways to protect himself. That .45 ACP is so loud, believe me, everyone will take a second to collect their thoughts, including the robbers. The noise and the first dead robber will be a deterrence to the rest who will begin to shoot while seeking cover from your giant bullets.

We need gun law, infact pple should have guns at least when everyone starts to suspect that the other person may have a gun people will fear and respect themselves. Cos this robbers rob knowing nothing will happen to them.

EXACTLY!!!! Nobody wants to die, not even armed robbers. The gun culture is a factor in motivating a lot of these armed robberies. If the police don't work, why must human beings keep surrendering their properties to other human beings against their will?

since the government can't protect us then we should protect ourselves after all we provide our light, water and even roads for ourselves. Don't see why we should go a step further to protecting ourselves by buying hand guns , magnums, teazers and stun guns.
