when going to Nigerian do you take malaria prevention medicine any side effect ? |

Haven't been to Nigeria in a while, but have been to Asia. The usual recommendation is to take a course of anti-malaria medication at least 3 weeks before travelling to any country where the malaria virus is present. You're also recommended to take it whilst in the contry, and continue taking for at least 3 weeks after you've returned to your country, in your case, Germany. I've never had any side effects, other than not contracting malaria! Good luck, and safe journey. |
