The description of Mary, the mother of Jesus, in the Holy Bible is not the same at all with that of the Catholics

Do you see anything terribly wrong with this picture? I do. This is the Catholic Mary. Look at her hands. Do you see the SCARS OF CRUCIFIXION? That's blasphemous and creepy. Does this bother you? Look at the caption again. It says that Mary is co-redeemer (co-redemptrix) with Jesus Christ. Look again...it says she is our advocate--but wait a minute. I John 2:1 says that the Lord Jesus Christ is our advocate--

"...if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous."

The Roman Catholic Mary is a usurper.

Look at the bottom of the image, this abomination also says that Mary mediates/dispenses the grace of God. This is insanity when compared with the Bible. Why is light emitting from her wounds? Is she supposed to be the light of the world and power of God? Wait a minute, notice that she is with child. Jesus is supposedly still in her womb, an unborn child totally dependent on her-- meanwhile she's all powerful! You may wonder that "Catholics believe Jesus is a Mama's Boy".

Did you know that Roman Catholics call Mary the "Queen of Heaven"?
Did you know that the Bible talks about the queen of heaven? It does. The queen of heaven is A PAGAN GODDESS, A DEVIL-- Jeremiah 7:18 The children gather wood, and the fathers kindle the fire, and the women knead their dough, to make cakes to the QUEEN OF HEAVEN, and to pour out drink offerings unto other gods, that they may provoke me to anger.

Sacrifices to strange gods are sacrifices to devils--

Deuteronomy 32:16-17 They provoked him to jealousy with strange gods, with abominations provoked they him to anger. They sacrificed unto devils, not to God; to gods whom they knew not, to new gods that came newly up, whom your fathers feared not.
You can also read about this devil, the queen of heaven, in Jeremiah chapter 44.

In this little treatise, you will see FROM CATHOLIC SOURCES (emphases ours) that:

(*) they call their Mary, the queen of heaven. This is not the Mary of the Bible.

(*) they turn to Mary for help for sin (It's refutation will be made later)
(*) they believe she was born sinless just like Jesus (called the Immaculate Conception--should be "Immaculate Deception" - (It's refutation will be made later)
(*) they believe she never saw physical death (called the Assumption of Mary) - (It's refutation will be made later)



Through the centuries, more and more doctrines concerning her have been revealed. For example:

1. Mary is called the Mother of God. AD 431 (It's refutation will be made later)
2. Prayers offered to Mary AD 600 (It has been made on Nairaland)
3. Immaculate Conception (that she was sinless) AD 1854 (It's refutation will be made later)
4. Assumption of Mary AD 1950 (It's refutation will be made later)
5. Mary Proclaimed Mother of the Church AD 1965 (It's refutation will be made later)

Behold the false Works of Mary:
* By Mary's prayers, she delivers souls from death (par. 966).
* " . . . when she [Mary] is the subject of preaching and worship she prompts the faithful to come to her Son . . . " (Vatican Council II, p. 420). Quote in Context.
* "This mother . . . is waiting and preparing your home for you" (Handbook for Todays Catholic, p.31).


Others are:
* She remained a virgin after the birth of Christ (Catechism of the Catholic Church, paragraph 510).
* "The liturgical feasts dedicated to the Mother of God and Marian prayer, such as the rosary, are an epitome of the whole Gospel," (par. 971).
*Mary, " . . . when the course of her earthly life was completed, was taken up body and soul into the glory of heaven . . . " (par. 974).
*"Mary has by grace been exalted above all angels and men to a place second only to her Son" (Vatican Council II, p. 421).
*"Preserved free from all stain of original sin" (Catechism of the Catholic Church, par. 966).

THIS IS THE SCRIPTURAL PROOF OF HOW MARY WAS BAPTIZED BY WATER AND BY THE HOLY SPIRIT
Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. (John 3:5)

"And when they were come in, they went up into an UPPER ROOM,..." Acts 1:13

"These all continued with one accord in prayer and supplication, with the WOMEN, and MARY the mother of Jesus, and with his brethen" Acts 1:14.

In the above verses, it is evident that Mary was present on the day of Pentecost (Acts 2:1), she was part of those that were filled with the Holy Ghost and that spoke with other tongues (Acts 2:4).
She must have had her WATER BAPTISM before the HOLY GHOST BAPTISM. That is a fact! Because Holy Spirit can never reside in you if you have not accepted the Lord into your life

This means that Mary is not in Heaven simply because she is the Mother of Jesus but she needed Jesus Christ, her Saviour and her Lord (Luke 1:46) before she could get to Heaven. She got born again with the evidence of the above Bible verses.

NOTE: Mary is constantly referred to as "Mother of Jesus" in the Bible but the Catholics keep referring to her as Mother of .....that will be another topic for another day by the grace of God.

Typing the details (with BIBLE REFERENCES) why Mary of the Holy Bible is NOT the QUEEN OF HEAVEN and such title does not or will never exist in Heaven. I do not need to get to Heaven before I know this. THE HOLY BIBLE (The Word of God) is here on earth with us to put us through and to refute this long standing false doctrine of Christians mainly of the Roman Catholic Church, and also, to some extent, in Anglicanism and Eastern Orthodoxy
