Oproko crowd mentality.

I did in first and second semester first yr cos almost every other person was doing it.

To battle sleep, I first started with Kona cafe (coffee sweets). Then it stopped working and I then shifted to drinking coffee before leaving the lodge.

Coffee drinks later stopped working and I went code black: Chew raw coffee and then wash it down with cold water. All in a bid to ward off sleep.

It was only after I passed out one day in class that I knew I was on a suicide mission. I never tasted coffee again till I graduated.

From experience, na these kain students dey carry last pass. Yes from experience cos when I adopted this approach in my 400L (Pathology & Pharmacology), it was always a negative feedback thing but when I got the realization in my 500 & 600L that it's not by how far but by how well, I watched more season films and played more soccer manager games and yet came out with better grades.

oh well. May be true for some people. I failed like a mumu when i did that. I woke up feeling confused, rush to hostel take a bath and I have forgoten all I read.
I had to stop and addopt a new strategy. Never went to night class again. I was on pass but when I changed strategy I never got a C talkless of D. I came out with 2:1 . Yes, some courses are harder than some but the way I studied, any body from any course will benefit from it.

Thats why I do tell ma friends not to follow the step of anyone. Just study yasef to discover whats best and works for you. Its that simple but most who do study overnight just want follow say my padi dey jack mesef go jack na wetin dey there be dat. I only did this once and that was in ma ND days, the course was a bit tough for I'm not dat sound in math so I had to study almost TDB for the naughty statistics course. I slept at a friends house who is good in the course, slept for a while den studied and went to skul as early as 7 for the exam was scheduled to hold by 8am. I did not even go to ma hostel to change, i only brushed my teeth and go straight to skul. Ama kinda Idon kia guy. But at the end of the end naa na 60 ooo... But was glad I made that sha...
