The term is used broadly by libertards, moslem apologists and moslems themselves to describe anyone who holds a critical view on muslims and islam as a whole.

A phobia is an irrational and unwarranted fear. The term Islamophobe according to moslem apologists describe any one who finds it disturbing that apostacy in islam is rewarded with death; that moslems are bent on forcing their doctrine and religion on people of other faiths; that moslems will violently attack anybody or group that openly critisizes islam; that moslems are responsible for daily killings of people of other faiths; and so on.
