@OP, If you are asking questions like this and acting on the figures most people gave here, you may never build a house. My advice, buy a genuine land or if you have one already, start to develop it according to your own POCKET gradually. You may not have N1m when you start but constant development of the plot/structure will give you a finished home one day. Please don't use another man's house as your standard.

Exactly , how can one spend 3 million Naira to raise a structure like that and end up spending 12million naira on the finishing though it depends on what one is building for and what you aim to achieve.

it will still not gulp 15millions bro. The foundation for that structure up there should be more than 800k, super structure shouldn't be more than 1 million, roofing 1million, plastering 800k wiring and plumbing should be around 1.4million, pop should be around 700k, tiles should be 1 million but for me, 600-800k is ok... So where is the 15million going? I may have left somethings out.

Or may be you should break it down on how you intend to spend 15 million... Remember the structure he uploaded does not even have parapet.

Electrical, light fittings, Sockets, Switches, Change overs, etc..

Tiles (bare in mind that the entire floors, half the outer walls, toilets and bathroom walls and kitchen floor and wall tiles)

Pillar design and casing, wall skirting, etc..

I am going to add Tank, Tank stand and Borehole for good measure..
