If truely English failed accredition, then they are likely not to admit for this session, probably shift it's aspirants to related depts.

Your course not getting accreditted doesn't mean you won't be admitted.
well i hate people who educate others on what they dont know. Read my post very well, i didnt say the wont be admitted i said when there name aint on the list. Moreover any department that loses accreditation admits and pushes them to similar departments.

Sadly, what that guy said is true: Imo State Uni lost accreditation for Medicine and Surgery (subject to review by December). Med Lab Science, Law and Nursing.
