Marriage should be enjoyed and not
endured, if you hear a man or woman
saying ‘ I’m only enduring in my marriage’
that sends a signal that something is
wrong in that marriage, no man or
woman is perfect but there are some
characters and habits that should be
deleted to make marriage successful.
Some of this characters and habits have
resulted to breaking of marriages.

WHAT NOT TO DO IN MARRIAGE

1. Don’t compare your spouse to
anybody else, whether at home or in
public.
2. Don’t be ungrateful when your spouse
presents a gift to you.
3. Don’t be unfaithful and disrespectful
to your spouse, respect each others
opinion.
4. For the men, don’t enslave your wife
simply because you are the head of the
house, stop ordering her like a new
recruited soldier, remember she is your
second half.
5. Don’t starve your spouse with sex,
this is very important, a lot of
marriages are in crisis because of sex.
6. Don’t be stingy, men always
remember that you are the head of the
family so take responsibility, for the
women be supportive don’t hold back
your money from your husband when
there is need.
7. Don’t be like a refuse dump site;
especially for the women you pretend a
lot before marriage, after marriage you
care not about your appearance.
8. Don’t correct your spouse by raising
your voice all the time especially in
public places.
9. Don’t be unfriendly to your in-laws.
10. Don’t involve third party to your
matrimonial issues. Resolve your
differences amicably but sometimes its
advisable for you to see a counselor or
your pastor don’t die in silence.
11.Don’t be over protective; fear of your
spouse having extra marital affairs,
preventing your spouse from the
opposite sex.
12 Don’t destructively gossip your spouse
with people.
