First, some facts. Diego Costa is a fantastic centre-forward. Chelsea fans adore the man. And regardless of what they say, fans of almost every other team would love to have him in their side.

But as Chelsea's Champions League tie against PSG tonight descended into a petty squabble of pushing, play-acting and referee pestering, we got to see the other side of the Spaniard's game.

And although he was far from the only player at Stamford Bridge engaging in what we will charitably call "the darker arts", the internet chose to pick on him.
