THIS GENERATION OF YOUNG CHRISTIANS

-LET'S TRY AND MAKE AMENDS-

1. We are always right and we never accept
correction... A corrector is seen as an enemy

2. We love to sing in church, but do not sing or read our bibles at home. We could read 5 different romance novels in a week, but not a chapter of the bible in a month.

3. We are full of lust, immorality, sensuality and emotions and we call it love.

4. We want to have wonderful marriages, but
by the time we are 25 years we've spent almost ten years in relationships already.
Sometimes we may have had more boy lovers and girl lovers than even our parents ever had, or kept a relationship with a married person.

5. Sexual activities are now part of our
relationships calling it romance or "testing the product before buying"

6. We want to be rich in life, meanwhile we've spent all our finances on the latest ipads,
iphone, galaxies, htcs, laptops, cameras, clothes, shoes, jewelry, bags, make ups, etc
which in many cases we use less than 30% of
their functions

7. We do not pay our tithes and offerings
claiming we are students. We've never heard of Covenant Seeds, First Fruits, Sacrifice, etc yet we want God to bless us.

8. We say we are christian women but dress
like girls of the night and we call it fashion. Exposing sensitive areas of our bodies and leaving nothing to the imagination.

9. We would rather prefer to give in to the pleasures of the world than subject our bodies to God.

10. In church you will see us with our hands
lifted up singing slow songs which we call
worship but on our phones in our pockets,
you will see photos of naked and half naked
women/men, hip hop, high life, etc and we have a nice way of justifying it.
We sing "My Body Is Your Sanctuary" with all holiness. Meanwhile, someone is waiting for us at home to defile this same body.

11. We are hardly convicted when we go to
church because our hearts have been
hardened by the deceitfulness of sin and
pride... etc etc etc
But God forsaw this and warned us in
( 2 Tim. 3:1-7) - That in the last days men and women will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure, rather than lovers of God, having a form of godliness but denying its power, learning but not practicing that which is learnt.

12. We would go miles to see our names on a can of Coke, than have it in the book of Life.

13. We would share a funny message to all our contacts on Whatsapp, Facebook, BBM but not the word of God that brings salvation. So they don't think differently of us.

14. We care more of what our friends think of us than what God thinks of us.

15. We say we love God, but we never make conscious efforts to chase after Him. We go to church one Sunday a month, or not at all. We hardly ever attend Weekly Activities or Youth Programs in church.

We need to CHANGE OUR WAYS, let us live the way God has created us to live.
We would have no excuse on Judgement Day. Even the bible has pre informed us that we are Inexcusable.

We have to Retrace our steps, REPENT and be SAVED!

Churches established by men are one of the causes of these attitude amongst youths today, compromising churches and pastors that have obeyed the voice of youthful lust that we were warned about in the scriptures. Let's just imagine churches that youths are flocking in week-in week-out.What have they seen that made them run to that Church, a compromised church,a pastor that treat sin with light gloves, a Church that says it doesn't matter, come as you are,etc.These are the kind of Churches that usually suffers from these ills mention by the OP,These are churches were you would not find elderly men and women that knows how it has been done right from the time of old.God deliver us(youths) from fake churches and ministers.
