Hello Guys,
I am introducing the new campaign project of the APC, the Call10bring5 initiative.
AIM
To show Support for APC, by Calling 10 people and Bringing 5 to the Polling Booth on the day of Election.
HOW TO
CALL TEN (10) PEOPLE
Make calls to at least 10 people, explain the importance of this election to them so that they also call 10 others.
BRING FIVE (5)
Each caller must commit to coming to the polls on election day with 5 people they have talked to who live in their neighborhood.
The election on the 28th of March, 2015 is about how we go forward as a nation and a people.
This thread is to galvanise APC members, supporters and sympathisers and remind ourselves about complacency
because the job is not finished yet.
It is for us to encourage one another by each of us making calls to at least 10 other people, explaining the importance of this coming election to them and ask that they take 5 people with them to the polling booth on election day.

10 Things BUhari and Osinbajo will do for Nigerians.

1.Will provide 1 meal a day for children in public primary schools. This will create several hundreds of thousands of jobs in Agriculture, Catering, and Delivery Services.

2.Boom in Agriculture-Sector jobs in the “just farm, government buys scheme!” The APC government will guarantee a minimum price for all cash crops and facilitate storage of agricultural products to overcome seasonal shortages of selected food crops.

3.Generate millions of jobs in construction industry by creating at least 4 million new homeowners by 2019. APC Government will-

>Establish a national mortgage at less than 10% interest rate for purchase of owner-occupier houses;
>Review the collateral qualification to make funding for home ownership easier, with a 15 to 30 year mortgage term.
>Move our banking from a short-term to long-term view to sustain the economy.

4.After NYSC, graduates will be paid stipends for 1 year under a vocational scheme where they are trained on entrepreneurial and work-readiness;

5.Increase jobs for medical professionals by giving every Nigerian family access to a hospital. APC Government will provide universal basic health care with N500 annual contribution per family in the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS). APC Government pays the balance.

6.In different phases over 4 years, APC will make monthly direct cash transfer of NGN5,000 to the 25 million poorest and most vulnerable citizens, if they immunize children and enrol them in school;

7.All around the country, will provide Internet and electricity enabled Technology/Industrial/Outsourcing parks for small/medium businesses and young entrepreneurs. Carry on effect will create hundreds of thousands of new jobs;

8.Generate, transmit and distribute electricity on a 24/7 basis whilst simultaneously ensuring the development of sustainable/renewable energy, by 2019.

9.Embark on a National Infrastructural Development Programme as a Public Private Partnership that will (a) ensure 5,000km of Superhighway including service trunks and (b) building of up to 6,800km of modern railway completed by 2019; (c) build commercial airports in all 36 states.

10.Within the first year, employ 740,000 (20,000 per state + FCT) young graduates in immediate Employment and Empowerment scheme

Transport, Power and Infrastructure

The Legacy of 16 years of PDP

Spent USD26 Billion on power sector, yet Nigeria has not passed 4,000 Mega Watts
Only 40% of Nigerians have access to Electricity
Broadband penetration is 6.9%

APC’s Roadmap for Roads, Power and Infrastructure Includes:

Generate, transmit and distribute electricity on a 24/7 basis whilst simultaneously ensuring the development of sustainable/renewable energy, by 2019.
Embark on a National Infrastructural Development Programme as a Public Private Partnership that will (a) ensure 5,000km of Superhighway including service trunks and (b) building of up to 6,800km of modern railway completed by 2019;
Build an integrated gas pipeline across Nigeria to increase the availability of clean energy at a lower cost.
Embark on PPP schemes that will ensure every one of the 36 states has one functional airport, with all 21st Century safety tools for effective commercial air travel.
Increase Nigeria’s broadband Internet capacity through a national fiber-optics network to spur economic growth and create thousands of new jobs.

SECURITY
In 2013, 26 of every 100 kidnapping cases globally occurred in Nigeria. With Chibok and the widespread abductions in the Northeast, this would certainly go up in 2014.
2nd- Nigeria’s ranking in global terrorism deaths after Iraq. Behind Syria and Afghanistan.
As of November 2014, 20 LGAs under Boko-Haram
APC Plan

Establishing a serious crime squad with state-of-the-art training and equipment to combat terrorism, militancy and ethno-religious communal clashes.
Enable states to have their own local police forces that address the special needs of each community, including community policing initiatives that restore trust among local citizens.
Provide a comprehensive compensation plan for victims of ethno-religious crisis, communal clashes and terrorism.
Initiate a national reconciliation and healing plan, beginning with a truth and reconciliation commission on ethno-religious clashes, ensure the teaching in our schools of religious tolerance and public demonstrations of religious & ethnic tolerance by public officials

ON YOUTH
Provide the opportunity for development by setting up functional recreational facilities, Library with e-services, Community Centers, in collaboration with States, Local Government Authorities, Local Development Areas, etc for youth to realize, harness, and develop their potential to the fullest, in order to facilitate the emergence of the new generation of citizens, who will be committed to the sustenance of good governance and service to the people and the country;
Establish Zonal world class sports academies and training institutes and ensure that Nigeria occupies a place of pride in global sports and athletics;
Revive and restructure the Nigerian Football League and put incentives in place to make it as competitive as other national leagues
Put in place measures to identify talents early and ensure their participation in local and international games to enable them to be true professionals;
Help as well as mandate schools and communities to create neighborhood playgrounds/sports centre. I will create matching support funds for communities to acquire the needed equipment to develop skills and competencies;
Assist Nollywood to fully develop into world class movie industry that can compete effectively with Hollywood and Bollywood in due course. I will support the creative and performing arts with the necessary environment where by our great entertainers do not end their lives in abject poverty as is currently the case.

FIGHT CORRUPTION- REFORM

THE LEGACY OF 16 YEARS OF THE PDP
 $20 billion or N3.3 trillion – Missing oil proceeds identified by Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) from January 2012- June 2013;
 $8 billion – Amount NNPC claims that it spent on illegal kerosene subsidies;
 $6 billion – Amount CBN showed that was paid into private accounts instead of the Federation Account;

WHAT IS THE APC GOING TO DO TO REVERSE THIS?
 Place the burden of proving innocence in corruption cases on persons with
inexplicable wealth.
 Will enforce Zero tolerance for official corruption.
 Legislation to expand forfeiture and seizure of assets for inexplicable wealth.
 Will guarantee independence of EFCC and ICPC.
 Will stop corruption in elections – a truly free and independent INEC.
 Will ensure greater disclosure of government contracts prior to awards.
 Improve the ability of citizens to keep an eye on their government, with more open access to government data, greater disclosure of government contracts prior to award.

The Presidential election holds on Saturday, March 28th 2015. This election promises to be a turning point in the history of Nigeria. Our people are yearning for good governance, jobs, a thriving economy, good schools, stable power supply and good infrastructure. All the things that an APC government will deliver. Everywhere they go, General Buhari and Professor Osinbajo has been overwhelmed by the people's yearning for change. It is now important that we actually get people to go and make this known on election day by voting APC. Please call 10 people today and request that they take 5 people with them to the polling booth on election day to vote in the government that the people deserve - an APC government.

Very important!.....Pls read.
The IG says voters should go home after casting their ballots,......he says we should not wait to protect our votes.
In response, on Channels TV this morning, INEC Chairman, Professor Attahiru Jega made the following assertions.
1. That the electoral law does not state anywhere that voters cannot, or should not wait to watch, and ensure that their votes are counted.
2. That INEC encourages, and is encouraging voters to wait behind, monitor the process, and watch their votes counted. He made it clear that the law expects such voters staying behind, to however conduct themselves in an orderly manner.
He said this was done in 2011, and was successful.
3. That what the electoral law says, is that anyone that has no business with the electoral process at the polling booths, but desires to monitor events, should stay at least 300 meters off the polling booths.
-He however clarified that a voter has business with the process, and therefore cannot be classified along with those that don't have business there.
The IG has no constitutional right to rewrite the law.
In a nutshell, you have every right under the electoral law (if you are a legitimate voter),to wait behind, ensure your votes are counted, as long as you conduct yourself in an orderly manner.
Pls share with everyone.

Make calls to at least 10 people, explain the importance of the coming election to them and request that they take 5 people with them to the polling booth.
Tell the 10 people you called to , in turn call 10 other people and that each of those 10 people bring other 10 people to the polls on the election.
To vote for the Buhari/Osinbajo ticket and a better future for Nigeria.

"All great and honorable actions are accompanied with great difficulties, and both must be enterprised and overcome with answerable courage"
William Bradford, Plymouth Bay, 1630.
Nigeria is in dire need of men with great courage, integrity, conviction and vision. Men like General Buhari and Prof Osinbajo. Two of Nigeria's finest minds ready to lead us out of this rudderless drift and usher in a new period of good governance.
Please call 10 people and ask them to bring 5 people to the polling booth with them on election day.

- The GEJ Administration has:
1) Not added a dime to the external reserves despite earning far higher revenues than any Nigerian president in history;
2) Depleted external reserves to about $29bn;
3) Escalated external debt;
4) Slowed down growth in the economy, now expected to grow below 6% for 2015;
5) Pushed unemployment now over 23%;
6) Caused poverty incidence to hover above 71%;
7) Overseen domestic debt ballooning to N7.65trn from N4.55tn in 2010;
8.) Depleted the excess crude account to less than $1bn
9) The worst exchange rate in the history of this country;
10) Presided over 500% jump in payment of petrol subsidies to over N1.4trn ($8.9bn) in 2011 and 2012 respectively from just under N261bn ($1.6bn) in 2006.
We had been promised steady Power with a plan as GEJ campaigned in 2011. In 2015, he says we should try to understand why power has not gone above 4500MW in four years. The "private sector" that won bids are not even able to provide needed funds to turn the critical sector around which then begs the question, how were they picked in the first place? Considering the depth of financing needed to make the sector work, I am surprised the government did not invite foreign investors to take ownership in a few of the Discos/Transcos/Gencos and allow competition and efficiency (ala MTN & MTel) to kill off, buy or merge with the inefficient investors. I doubt we will get a better deal in Power if GEJ is given another 4 years as the first set of investors have now invested in his next 4 years and will certain dictate the tune.

Vote for a better Nigeria,
